The episode begins with Dadi asking Abhira to stay and complete her work. Abhira retorts that Dadi hasn’t bought her. Dadi counters, saying she did when Abhira lied about her and Armaan’s relationship. Abhira asserts she isn’t a toy to be bought and offers Dadi blank cheques, declaring her ethics aren’t for sale and hopes Dadi understands.
Infuriated, Dadi shouts at Abhira, calling her foolish and reminding her that she only saved Vidya and Madhav’s marriage by lying in court. Dadi leaves angrily, and Abhira starts to cry, shocked to see Armaan witnessing the scene. Armaan notices a mangalsutra in a cloth and realizes Abhira’s sacrifice for his parents. Abhira runs away and locks herself in a cupboard, crying.
Dadi approaches Armaan, praising him for bringing happiness to the house and ensuring that his decision to marry Ruhi will prove right. She blesses him and gives him a candy, mentioning some important work, and takes him along.
Meanwhile, Kajal meets Madhav, realizing that Sanjay is wrong for hiding things from Madhav and deciding Vidya has the right to know about her husband’s situation. She calls Vidya, but Sanjay, searching for Vidya, can’t find her in the room. Armaan notices Abhira again.
Dadi instructs Abhira to serve tea and drinks to the guests, which she reluctantly does. She then asks Vidya to start the sangeet ceremony. When Vidya asks Manisha and Manoj to perform, Manisha initially refuses but eventually performs to “Jhumka gira.” Abhira serves drinks while Armaan and Ruhi watch her, and everyone applauds the performance.
Sanjay checks Vidya’s phone and sees Kajal’s call. He answers it, and Kajal urgently informs him that Madhav is in the hospital and asks if he is coming. Sanjay, angry, declares he won’t let Kajal talk to anyone and switches off the phone.
Meanwhile, Krish announces that Manish and Swarna will be performing next. Manish and Swarna take the stage and perform to “Hawa Ke Saath Saath…”
Armaan approaches Abhira and says he wants to talk to her, but she walks away. Ruhi takes Armaan with her as Abhira busies herself with her work. Krish then announces the ladies’ special performance. Vidya, Dadi, and Surekha dance to “Dola Re Dola.
” After the performance, Krish invites everyone to have some food and come back. Dadi asks Abhira to check the arrangements for Armaan and Ruhi’s performance. Abhira goes and starts crying. Armaan notices and stops her, confronting her about lying in court to save their parents’ marriage.
She pleads with him to let her go and falls. Armaan catches her, preventing her from falling, and everyone watches them. “Maine Zindagi Tere Naam Ki” plays. Ruhi asks Armaan if he is okay, and he replies yes. She holds his hand and leads him away. Armaan tells her they need to remove Abhira from her job.
