The episode begins with Abhira cautioning Vidya to be careful. Vidya attempts to stand but falls and injures herself, ultimately fainting. Panicked, Abhira vows to protect her. A servant fetches water, and Abhira instructs him to call the doctor. She then carries Vidya to a room. Armaan arrives, taking Vidya from Abhira’s arms. “I tried hard, Armaan,” Abhira says.
Armaan replies, “The workers told me everything.” He starts tying knots in his shirt, explaining, “Mom used to tie knots in her favorite saree and pray for our recovery whenever we fell ill. I hope this helps. She will be fine. You may go; I will take care of her.” Abhira, touched, also ties knots in her coat.
The doctor arrives and reassures them, “Vidya is hurt, but there is nothing to worry about. Just take care of her.” Vidya regains consciousness and sees the knots in the coat and shirt. “No, I don’t need water and medicines,” she insists.
“Armaan, your dad is going on a dangerous mission. His life is at risk. Stop him.” Armaan replies, “You know duty comes first for him. He won’t stop for me.” Vidya pleads, “No, Abhira comes first for him.” She turns to Abhira, “Stop Madhav. I’ve lost so much in my life; I can’t lose my husband too.”
Meanwhile, Surekha compliments Ruhi, “You did well sending Manish and Suwarna on holiday.” Ruhi responds, “I want them to stay away from these problems.” Surekha acknowledges Ruhi’s concern, “You’re worried about us.
” Ruhi admits, “No, I’m just taking up the responsibility I forgot.” Surekha suggests watching a movie, offering to make popcorn and instructing Ruhi to close the door. As Ruhi goes to close it, someone forcefully pushes it open.
Later, Armaan thanks Abhira for saving Vidya, saying, “Vidya is my life; you saved my life too.” Abhira responds, “I regard her as my mother.” Just then, a man arrives with a message, “Sushant sent us to deliver these items. He has the house papers.” Surekha considers calling Manish, but Ruhi stops her, “No, he’ll abandon his holiday. Let him be; I’ll handle this.
” Distracted, Abhira accidentally bumps into Dadi and sees the entire family. Dadi demands, “What are you doing in my house?” Sanjay accuses her, “She’s here to steal our firm’s secrets and sell them for money.” Armaan steps in to defend Abhira, explaining, “She entered because Vidya was in danger and saved her life.”
Vidya remembers Abhira’s help. Armaan continues, “Abhira is different. You always insult her, but she saved Vidya, forgetting everything. Thank her or say nothing, because I won’t tolerate it.” Manisha and the kids thank Abhira, hugging her.
Armaan apologizes to Abhira on the family’s behalf. Dadi yells, “Armaan!” Abhira asks them to avoid repeating their mistakes. Just then, Madhav arrives, concerned, “Is Vidya hurt?” Abhira confirms, “Yes,” and Madhav rushes in, noticing Dadi and Sanjay. Abhira directs him, “Go inside.”
She asks, “Will you not meet Vidya because of Dadi?” Madhav replies, “My mom wants me to weaken. If I go inside for Vidya, she’ll use Vidya to bring me home. I’ll find another way to meet her.” She asks, “What way?” Armaan hugs Abhira’s coat. Madhav enters the room through the window, and Abhira helps him. Armaan sees this and comes downstairs to her.
He says, “I’m here, you can go, Abhira. Dad got emotional; he needs time.” She responds, “He loves Vidya.” He says, “I doubt it.” She replies, “He doesn’t know how to express it.” He asks, “Then why did he come like a thief?” She explains, “Dadi would have seen his worry for Vidya and used it. You’re all puppets for Dadi.” He says, “Dad did the same to us.” She agrees, “Yes, I’m happy he stopped me.” He says, “Stay happy with me. I’m still here, and happiness is waiting for us.” She says, “It’s fake happiness. Lies can’t last long.”
Madhav comes down the ladder, and Armaan also holds it. “Teri Meri Baatein” plays. Madhav asks Armaan to take care of Vidya.
The next morning, Madhav asks Abhira to have breakfast but finds the door locked. Abhira locks it, saying, “I can’t let you go on a dangerous mission. Think of Vidya once.” He shouts, “Open the door! We have to keep personal life separate from work. Think of the innocent lives at risk. Don’t fall weak.” She opens the door and hugs Madhav. She says, “Promise me you’ll come back.” He promises and leaves.
Vidya arrives and calls out for him. Abhira says, “I tried hard; I locked him in.” Vidya cries, “Liar! You let him go. He loves you so much, staying away from his family because of you. You didn’t fulfill your duty as a daughter.” She cries and leaves.
