The episode begins with Vidya firmly stating to Abhira that they no longer share any relationship. Abhira breaks down in tears as Vidya scolds her, demanding to know why she deceived Armaan by pretending to be married to him. Abhira explains that it was because of Yuvraj’s coercion. Vidya expresses regret for supporting Abhira against Maasa and realizes her mistake. Seeing Maasa, Vidya falls to her feet, asking for forgiveness and admitting her temporary madness.
Dadi blames Abhira for all the troubles in the house, questioning what excuse Armaan will have for the failed marriage after a year, suggesting that he will mock the Poddar family. Dadi reprimands Abhira, accusing her of exploiting Armaan’s kindness, deciding that Abhira must stay for a year to experience the consequences of her actions and then leave. She criticizes Abhira for her lack of ethics, highlighting the hypocrisy of her preaching while staying with a man in his house and room. Abhira defends herself, claiming she was in a helpless situation.
Unable to bear Abhira’s presence any longer, Dadi instructs her to pack her bags and leave immediately. Despite the family’s sadness and tears, Abhira thanks them for allowing her to stay and apologizes before departing. Meanwhile, Manish reveals that Ruhi had gone to Mussoorie to meet someone, suspecting that Suwarna might know more. Suwarna denies any knowledge, insisting she is not worried and suggests having buttermilk.
Aryan, Krish, and Kiara approach Abhira as she prepares to leave, confirming her departure. Abhira reminds Aryan that she is not his real sister-in-law, and Aryan tries to comfort her, acknowledging the reality of her marriage to Armaan as genuine, leaving Abhira in tears.
Dadi admonishes Armaan, “No, Armaan, you can’t defend that girl now.” Armaan responds, “I promised her mom I’d educate and help her.” Dadi retorts, “You married her; you could have helped her without marriage. If you knew this marriage would break after a year, why stay in one room as husband and wife?” Armaan clarifies, “No, Abhira and I have no husband-wife relationship. We are just friends.”
Manisha interjects, “We thought you loved each other.” Armaan denies, “No, we are friends.” Kiara questions, “Why did you celebrate festivals with Armaan then?” Dadi adds, “Why did she give her opinion in family matters? She broke all the rules, made many mistakes, don’t forget that.” Armaan acknowledges, “Yes, I can’t forget that, but her mom gave her life to save me.”
Meanwhile, Abhira, emotional, tells Aryan, “I have to go. I don’t get attached to anyone. It’s not a big deal; I will stay alone.” Aryan asks, “Won’t you miss us?” Abhira cries, hugs them, and says, “You all go; I’m coming.” They leave, and Abhira looks at Armaan’s picture, lamenting, “I never got your love; I lost you.” “Dil roi jaye… (Heart weeps…)” plays as she consoles herself.
Armaan pleads, “Abhira is my responsibility; give me some time.” Dadi scolds him, questioning his decision. “I don’t know what she will do in the next three months,” she adds. Armaan insists, “I know, but I was helpless to get her here.
” Madhav advises, “If you keep the promise, you will upset the family. You have to choose between Abhira and the family.” Armaan declares, “Abhira is just my responsibility.” As Abhira drops her bag downstairs, she prepares to face what’s next.
