The episode begins with a tense argument between Manish and Suwarna. Suwarna pleads with Manish to understand, but he is adamant, expressing his disappointment in Aarohi’s actions. He tells Suwarna that Aarohi has broken off ties with Abhi twice already for the sake of her sister, and now their daughter has done the same. He feels ashamed of her actions.
Manish then calls for Ruhi and asks her to come to him immediately. He tells her that they need to talk about Armaan and her. Ruhi, upon seeing Armaan, hesitates, wondering if she should tell him, but seeing his troubled state, she refrains. Manish takes Ruhi to the pictures of Aarohi and Neil, demanding that she clarify whether breaking off Armaan and Abhira’s marriage is the right thing to do. He scolds her, and Ruhi breaks down in tears.
Manish tells her that if she had informed him earlier, he could have told Kaveri about her love for Armaan, her marriage to Rohit, and the fact that Rohit was in a loveless marriage. He accuses her of breaking off Armaan and Abhira’s marriage, to which Ruhi denies, explaining that their marriage was never real—it was a one-year deal, known to everyone at home, and Armaan would divorce her after three months.
Meanwhile, Armaan searches for Madhav and comes across news of a hostel fire incident, which reminds him of Abhira. Shrishti celebrates her birthday, cutting the cake, while everyone sings. Abhira is offered a drink, but she declines. The girls insist, and Abhira, seeing Armaan, recalls his words.
Ruhi explains to Manish that she only supported Armaan because he sacrificed his love for his family. She admits her mistake with Rohit, saying that she thought she could see her love and live, but Rohit left them. She cries, expressing her dilemma of wanting to hold onto her love for Armaan. Armaan, witnessing Abhira drunk and causing a scene, is left shocked.
He intercepts her, concern etched on his face. “Why are you drinking?” he asks. She retorts sharply, “Who are you to question me?” Tempers flare, words exchanged.
Meanwhile, the other girls gossip about him, wondering why Abhira is still with him. “He always blames me for everything at home,” Abhira explains, frustration evident. “He thinks I’m the problem.”
“You’re embarrassing both of us,” he insists, trying to contain the situation. She scoffs, “Embarrassing? I’ve been suffocating in your house. I just want to enjoy myself now.” Ignoring his protests, she cues the music, and a breakup song blares. Abhira dances uninhibitedly, drowning her sorrows in alcohol.
“Enough,” he finally snaps, attempting to put an end to the spectacle. Defiant, she retorts, “You go home. I’ll do as I please.” In a fit of frustration, he hurls the bottle away, causing the other girls to leave in discomfort, followed by him storming off. Abhira, now alone, breaks down, picking up the glass bottle, which pricks her finger.
Meanwhile, he, consumed by thoughts of her, drives back home. Seeing Manish in front of him, he abruptly brakes, jumping out of the car to check on him. “Are you okay? I’m sorry,” he says, but instead of a forgiving response, Manish slaps him, expressing his deep disappointment. “I can never forgive this betrayal. You broke Ruhi’s heart,” he accuses.
Filled with remorse, he apologizes, but Manish’s anger doesn’t wane. “You’ve hurt Ruhi. You’re a liar, a fraud,” he accuses bitterly. Trying to defend himself, he asks, “What would you have done in my place?” Manish responds firmly, “I would have told the truth.”
Reflecting on his actions, he tries to make Manish understand his perspective, but the pain is too raw. “Hit me if it makes you feel better,” he offers, acknowledging the magnitude of his mistake.
Ruhi comes and looks on as Manish says, “Just face the truth and defeat the problems. Make Ruhi away from your life. Stop fixing her life.” He leaves, and Ruhi cries, saying, “I’m sorry. Don’t take Manish’s words seriously. He is scared. He thinks Dadisa will not accept our relation. You are very nice. I know you won’t let anything wrong happen with me.”
Abhira writes the assignment and sees the reminder, while Armaan also gets the reminder. A flashback shows Armaan getting coffee for Abhira. She says, “I have to focus on the assignment.” He replies, “You should do it on time. It’s not good to be careless.” She jokes, and he suggests syncing their calendars to remind her about assignments. She playfully pulls his nose, calling him cute. He goes to get coffee for her, and the flashback ends. Abhira cries as she thinks, “She has to submit her assignment. Shall I call her and remind?” She hears the phone ringing, smiles, and then gets sad, thinking, “I got my hope shattered. Why would Armaan call me, when I refused him? Just do the work.”
Vidya is in turmoil, her voice wavering. Ruhi, concerned, reaches out, saying, “I can’t begin to understand the pain you’re feeling.” Vidya’s eyes well up with tears as she responds, “I never realized our bond was so fragile, that it could shatter because of Abhira.” Meanwhile, Dadi approaches Armaan with urgency, revealing, “Madhav is adamant about leaving. It’s up to you now to ensure he stays.”
