The episode opens with Armaan and Sanjay in a heated argument over the clause in the divorce papers. Armaan firmly states that he will not perjure himself in court, even if it means Abhira’s studies are delayed. Dadi intervenes, urging Abhira to consider Armaan’s sacrifices and asks if she can’t bend the truth for his sake.
She then veers the conversation towards Abhira’s mother, prompting Abhira to remind her of the promise not to speak ill of her mother. Dadi, however, insists that Abhira should remember her mother’s dreams and hands her a chequebook filled with signed cheques, urging her to move on and give a false testimony in court. Meanwhile, Krish offers money to Sanjay, who dismisses it, predicting that Krish will soon need it. Krish receives a call informing him about an impending fee payment, adding to his worries.
In another scene, Ruhi prepares a sweet dish, expressing her desire to see everyone happy while Vidya suggests she could have taken help from Manisha. Ruhi, however, explains that making the dish is her way of finding solace, recounting memories of her mother, a compassionate doctor who prioritized her patients over her family.
Vidya comforts Ruhi, who reveals her decision to devote her time to the family until Abhira and Armaan’s issues are resolved, after which she plans to return to Manish’s business. Moved by Ruhi’s commitment, Vidya promises to support her and expresses her reluctance to let Ruhi leave.
Meanwhile, Kajal refuses Krish’s request for money, prompting Sanjay to intervene and commend Krish’s initiative, suggesting he may soon join the family business. Abhira, on the other hand, asserts her right to make decisions for herself, and when Armaan approaches her, she collapses into his arms. Armaan suggests they sit and talk, respecting her wishes. The scene shifts to Madhav’s fall, where Vidya and Armaan attend to him, with Vidya insisting on caring for his injury despite his protests of being fine.
Madhav insists, “I can manage, I’m used to being alone.” Dadi concernedly questions, “Where are you off to? You’re injured; you should rest here tonight.” Vidya gently guides him to lie down on the bed. Abhira notices Dadi and, as Armaan enters, he queries, “What brings you here?” She requests his assistance in getting water and he obliges, escorting her to the kitchen.
She remarks, “You seem cheerful,” to which he replies, “Dad has returned to mom’s room; I’ll fetch the water for you.” While in the kitchen, Armaan notices the custard bowls and searches for Abhira’s, but she declines, saying she’s not hungry. He insists, “You can share mine,” but she refuses, saying, “No, it’s yours.
” Armaan, expressing his desire to share it with her, persuades her to sit. She reminds him, “You were about to say something,” and he discloses, “Sanjay asked me to lie in court, but I refused; I can argue with you, but I won’t mock our relationship.
I married you out of choice.” Abhira, acknowledging the marriage’s falsity and the imminent pressure for divorce, worries about their future. Armaan reassures her, “This is our relationship; we won’t succumb to pressure. We’ll decide when to part ways. I may be upset, but I care for you. I want you to study and build a career. I won’t wrong you to fix things at home.”
Observing Dadi again, Abhira breaks down and confides in Akshu, “I don’t know what to do. I don’t know if Armaan will ever love me.” She opens her diary and reads, tears streaming down her face, “Will I always be alone?” She closes her eyes, reflecting deeply, remembering Ruhi, Dadi, and others’ advice. With a heavy heart, she opens her eyes and mutters, “What will tomorrow bring?”
