Kashvi calls out to Arjun, asking him to come and collect the parrot. Arjun, however, playfully insists that before he agrees, he wants Kashvi to confess her love for him. He teases her, saying he’ll then bring the wedding procession (baraat) and take her away in a palanquin. Kashvi, annoyed, tells him to take the parrot named Kaju and leave.
Arjun, in a dramatic gesture, tells Kashvi to throw Kaju away if she can bring herself to end its life, emphasizing that the decision is hers since Kaju is her pet. Kashvi challenges Kaju to prove its worth. To her surprise, Kaju reveals that Arjun loves her.
Meanwhile, Shanti enters the room and finds it in disarray, wondering who had visited. She searches for Mahesh’s ashes, realizing they are missing. She discovers a note instructing her to come to a certain address to retrieve the urn. At the location, she hears Mahesh’s voice, which tells her that although he is dead to everyone else, he remains alive for her.
He questions why she returned from the city and why she kept his ashes. Shanti declares her intention to seek revenge against Kashvi.
She beckons him to step forward. Abruptly, smoke envelops the room. Through the haze, she spots Aditya and inquires about Mahesh’s whereabouts.
Aditya gravely informs her of Mahesh’s demise and demands the truth, threatening to withhold Mahesh’s ashes otherwise. Shanti reveals her desire for retribution against Kaashvi, blaming her for Mahesh’s entrapment to secure Arjun’s freedom. She reminds Aditya of his previous agreement with her. Recollecting their conversation, Aditya listens as Shanti recounts her tragic losses—her husband and child—due to Kaashvi’s machinations. Determined, she vows to take revenge by harming Karun, Mahima and Arjun’s child, believing it will cause Kaashvi immense pain.
Aditya questions her plan, pointing out that Karun is not Kaashvi’s son but Mahima and Arjun’s. Shanti decides to keep this information to herself, reserving it as a trump card. Aditya agrees, intending to prevent Shanti from harming Kaashvi while using her to keep Kaashvi and Arjun apart.
He suggests that Kaashvi will only find solace once she has a child of her own, predicting that Kaashvi will suffer even more if she loses Arjun. He convinces Shanti to consider separating Arjun and Kaashvi as the ultimate revenge, promising that it will bring her peace. Shanti agrees, seeking his assistance. Aditya pledges his help, citing it as a means to bring peace to Mahesh’s soul and to distance Arjun from Kaashvi. They shake hands, sealing their pact.
In the morning, Kaju reveals to Kashvi that Arjun loves her. Aditya, visibly annoyed, leaves the scene. Kashvi hushes Kaju and follows Aditya. Finding him, Aditya suggests they become friends, but Kaju, in a playful gesture, bites his hand, leading to Aditya’s complaint. Kashvi intervenes, scolding Aditya gently. Later, Kashvi informs Aditya about taking Kaju to the vet, and Aditya insists on joining them. Kaju, in a mischievous act, urinates on Aditya’s shirt, prompting Aditya to joke that Arjun must have trained Kaju to do so. Kashvi leaves with Kaju.
Meanwhile, a distressed girl approaches Jagdish, claiming that someone is after her life. Jagdish offers her safety in his car. At the vet clinic, Kashvi enters the doctor’s cabin to find Arjun there, surprising her. Rimmy, the girl with Jagdish, fears being caught by some men. However, their escape plan hits a roadblock when Jagdish discovers a punctured tire. Kashvi, at the clinic for Kaju, is pleasantly surprised to see Arjun, despite there being no prior vet appointment.
