Aditya arrives at the outhouse where Shanti is waiting. Startled, Shanti questions how he discovered her meeting with Kashvi, warning him to stay away or risk her outcry bringing Kashvi running. Unfazed, Aditya taunts her with the prospect, confidently calling for Kashvi.
Assuring her that their conversation won’t be overheard amidst the chanting of mantras outside, Aditya proceeds to douse the floor with kerosene from a nearby cylinder he had arranged with the help of a nurse, anticipating Shanti’s presence.
As tensions escalate, Aditya demands to know why Shanti attempted to contact Kashvi when they had struck a deal for honesty. Shanti, distrusting Aditya, accuses him of treachery, branding him as the devil responsible for her husband’s demise, and now turning against her. Threatening further harm, Aditya ominously promises to surpass her worst expectations.
Meanwhile, Kashvi queries Pandit ji about the unusual smoke filling the area. Pandit ji deflects her concerns with a pretext, diverting attention back to the ongoing rituals. Sensing something amiss, Keval raises the alarm about the smell of gas, which Jagdish dismisses as smoke. Unbeknownst to them, the gas leak initiated by Aditya’s actions in the outhouse intensifies.
In the midst of the chaos, Shanti pleads desperately with Aditya, offering to divulge a long-held secret in exchange for her life. Feigning goodwill, Aditya claims he’s there to assist, revealing the existence of evidence on a pendrive that could exonerate her and her late husband. Suspicious of his intentions, Shanti hesitates, torn between revealing the truth and safeguarding herself.
Elsewhere, Romila, unaware of the impending danger, considers reheating the halwa, unwittingly bringing the gas stove closer to ignition. As the situation teeters on the brink of disaster, Aditya, holding all the cards, presses Shanti for the identity of the mysterious boy from her past, confident that this revelation will solidify his control over the unfolding events.
Shanti implores Aditya to release her and lead her to safety. Aditya, angered by the exposure, condemns her as foolish and forewarns her demise. Despite Shanti’s desperate pleas, Aditya proceeds outside and triggers a gas explosion. Romila, attempting to ignite the gas, sustains injuries from the ensuing blaze in the outhouse.
As the cylinder detonates, shock ripples through everyone present. Micky and Monty rush to aid Romila, while Arjun assesses her condition and proposes evacuating her. Meanwhile, Kashvi, unaware of Aditya’s whereabouts, remains reluctant to abandon him in the bedroom.
Upon witnessing the unforeseen conflagration, Aditya’s plans derail, prompting his exasperation. Kashvi’s call interrupts his dilemma, forcing him to strategize swiftly as she continues her search. Anticipating Kashvi’s rescue attempt, Aditya resolves to return home before her.
As the chaos unfolds and Arjun summons assistance, he realizes Karun’s absence, sparking a tense exchange with Mahima. Arjun ventures inside to locate Karun, only to find the latter unconsciousness absent.
Kashvi discloses having entrusted Karun to Mahima, but Arjun is skeptical, citing Mahima’s solitary departure. Concerned about the impending danger to Aditya, Kashvi insists on finding him. Arjun advises against risking herself, urging her to prioritize Karun’s safety.
While Kashvi heeds his counsel and embarks on the search, Arjun endeavors to reach Aditya’s bedroom. However, Aditya, observing Arjun’s approach, alters his plans, opting to conceal himself near the sofa instead.
Amidst the chaos, Kashvi beseeches divine intervention to aid her quest for Karun amidst the thick smoke. Guided by faith, she eventually discovers Karun lying unconscious.
