Shanti expresses that caring for Karun will fill her sense of emptiness, which Kashvi agrees with. Arjun then arrives and informs Shanti that their father is calling her. Shanti then confides in Kashvi, revealing that Kashvi had entrapped her husband, leading to his suicide.
Shanti vows to kill Kashvi’s son, fulfilling her revenge and causing Kashvi to experience the pain she feels. Meanwhile, Vishal arrives at Dadi’s house, concerned that Mahima may have harmed herself. Upon entering, he finds Mahima sitting on the sofa. Mahima stands up, holding a knife, and tells Vishal that she will only live if he stays with her.
Vishal explains that he couldn’t come because Kashvi, his boss, threatened to fire him. He expresses concern about taking on the responsibility of her child since he’s already someone’s husband and father. Mahima questions why he’s afraid of Kashvi, suggesting that Kashvi might be envious of her. Vishal reveals that Mahima’s son is not actually hers; she faked a pregnancy and made everyone believe that Arjun, her husband, had an affair with her.
Relieved, Vishal admits he was worried for no reason and declares that he doesn’t want to be Kashvi’s stepni (stepfather), asking if anything happened between Arjun and Mahima. Mahima assures him that nothing ever did, confessing her love for him. They share a romantic moment, kissing and embracing. Suddenly, Karun arrives and, shocked, accuses Mahima of not being happy with him and their dad, catching her in Vishal’s arms.
Vishal inquires about the identity of the man Mahima referred to as “uncle.” Mahima clarifies that he is just a friend. Karun interjects, accusing Mahima of not loving their father, citing his observation of the situation. He believes their father didn’t reveal certain truths to him because he knew it would hurt him. Mahima attempts to intervene, but Karun leaves.
Vishal urges Mahima to forget about Karun and Arjun, emphasizing that it should be just the two of them. Meanwhile, Karun boards a cab and instructs the driver to take him. The driver questions him about payment and eventually drops him off on the side of the road. Gopal notices him as he exits the cab.
Elsewhere, Shanti offers halwa to Kashvi, who refuses to eat it without first feeding some to Karun. Romila questions her actions, pointing out that Karun is asleep. Despite this, Kashvi insists on feeding him, causing Romila to become concerned.
Vishal explains that he couldn’t come earlier because Kashvi, his boss, threatened to fire him. He confesses his fear, mentioning Mahima’s family and his unpreparedness for taking on a child’s responsibility. Mahima questions why he’s afraid of Kashvi, suggesting it might be due to jealousy. Vishal expresses relief, realizing his concerns were unnecessary, and asserts he doesn’t want to be a step-parent. Mahima reveals her son is not biologically hers; she faked a pregnancy and arranged for the child after pretending that Arjun, her husband, had an affair with her. Vishal is reassured and confesses his love, and Mahima reciprocates. They share a romantic moment, embracing and kissing. Suddenly, Karun, Mahima’s son, arrives and misunderstands the situation, thinking Mahima is unhappy with him and his father and is embracing someone else.

Meanwhile, Karun hails a cab and gets in, instructing the driver to take him. The driver asks for payment, and when Karun can’t pay, he’s forced out onto the street. Gopal notices him as he passes by.
Back at home, Shanti offers halwa to Kashvi, who refuses to eat it without feeding Karun first. Romila questions Kashvi’s actions, but Kashvi insists, stating that Karun hasn’t eaten anything and she wants to feed him. Romila becomes worried.
Kashvi enters Karun’s room and tenderly reassures him, “Don’t worry, Karun, your Mamma will return soon.” She leans in to kiss him, only to realize that it’s just a pillow. Perplexed, she lifts the blanket and discovers the pillows arranged to resemble Karun.
Alarmed, she calls out for Karun, then rushes out to find Arjun. Frantically, she informs him that Karun is missing from the room, and all she found were pillows. Arjun, in a panic, questions where Karun could have gone. Micky suggests they search for him.
Meanwhile, Romila, visibly concerned, watches the scene unfold. Kashvi urges Arjun to join the search. Unbeknownst to them, Gopal keeps a watchful eye on Karun and sends a photo of him with his location, along with a message asking for instructions on what to do with him.
Aditya returns home and wonders if Kashvi has arrived yet. He turns on the lights and tries calling her. Jagdish informs him that he contacted his friend but couldn’t locate her. Concerned, everyone discusses the situation. Kashvi advises Arjun to remain composed.
Micky explains he was upset, leading to some confusion. Arjun clarifies that Micky was actually upset with him. Aditya tries reaching Kashvi, who reveals she’s at the Bajwa house. Aditya inquires when she plans to return, to which Kashvi responds that she came to see Karun but discovered he’s missing. She discloses that Arjun kicked Mahima out after learning about her involvement with Vishal. Determined, Kashvi declares she won’t return until Karun is located.
Romila calls Mahima, who informs her that Karun witnessed a misleading situation and left abruptly, though she doesn’t know how he came across it. Romila reveals she sent Karun to fetch Mahima back home. Mahima scolds her for sending such a message.
Unbeknownst to them, Shanti overhears their conversation and sinisterly plans to worsen Karun’s condition before anyone finds him, ensuring he remains unrecognizable. She smirks and leaves. Meanwhile, Arjun expresses concern to Kashvi about Karun’s safety, noting that he hasn’t returned home. He suggests involving the police, which worries Shanti and Romila.
