The episode begins with Sayali bringing milk for Sachin. He accepts the glass and suggests she can go out and rest. However, she decides to stay and lies down to sleep. When she turns, she sees Sachin still awake. Surprised, she asks why he isn’t sleeping. Sachin reveals that he can’t sleep due to his father, but he enjoys being there with Sayali’s mother, whom he praises.
He expresses his wish for Renu, his wife, to love him as well. Sayali questions why Renu doesn’t love him, and Sachin explains that despite Paresh’s love, Renu doesn’t show affection towards him or his father. He expresses his confusion about Renu’s behavior, feeling that his father deserved a better wife.
Sachin laments that he never experienced a mother’s love, as he was raised by his grandmother, Aaji. He shares his perception that Renu, coming from a wealthy family, doesn’t respect his father. Feeling sorry for him, Sayali acknowledges the difference in their lives and suggests he might have been happier had she stayed in her previous home.
Meanwhile, Sudhakar arrives home, where Shobha and Juhi confront him, asking him to leave. Undeterred, Sudhakar defies their demands, telling Juhi to call whoever she wants, as he will claim she invited him.
Juhi orders Sudhakar to leave, and he shoves her. Sayali emerges from the room, and he taunts her about being thrown out by her husband. Enraged, Sayali rebukes him. Sudhakar attempts to grab her, but Sachin steps in, coming out of the room, and attacks Sudhakar. Juhi is pleased as Sachin beats Sudhakar and his accomplices, forcefully ejecting them from the chawl. Sachin warns Sudhakar that his behavior is intolerable and threatens him with dire consequences if he returns. Sayali watches silently as Sachin vows not to spare Sudhakar in the future and demands he leave immediately.
Kaki expresses relief that Sachin is present. Sayali smiles, indicating her agreement. Meanwhile, Renu calls Tejas and breaks into tears as she talks to him, expressing her concern for his well-being. Tejas, however, casually asks her to prepare chicken curry for him. Renu promises to bring it the next day. Paresh enters, prompting Renu to quickly change the subject, pretending to talk to Shakku.
Tejas, unaware of Paresh’s presence, asks if their dad has arrived, intending to end the call. Paresh, playing along, says he will speak to Shakku and takes the phone from Renu, informing Tejas that the call got disconnected and he will talk to Shakku the following day.
The next morning, Sayali prepares for the day. Shobha and Juhi gift a gold chain to Sachin, intended for their future son-in-law. Sachin, however, declines, stating that he does not need it as he drives a taxi at night. He suggests that Juhi should wear it instead. Despite their insistence, Sachin refuses to accept the gift, citing practical reasons. Shobha, however, insists that it is their duty to give him a gift, and eventually, Sachin agrees. Sayali then puts the gold chain around his neck.
Juhi playfully teases them. Sachin warmly remarks, “I’m wearing it because you gave it with love, it’s lovely.” Renu prepares chicken curry, and Paresh exclaims, “After so long, you’re cooking with such love, is something special happening? Chicken in the morning, wow!” Renu explains, “Shakku mentioned she wants to eat chicken.” Paresh smiles, “That’s great, but I find it hard to believe.
” Renu asks why, to which Paresh responds, “I need to ask Shakku.” Sachin and Sayali exchange glances, and Sayali inquires about Dilip’s arrival. Juhi informs her, “He’ll be here in two days.” Shobha admits she wasn’t aware of Dilip borrowing money from Sachin. Sayali defends, “Sachin gave it from his heart.” Shobha praises Sachin’s kindness, anticipating happiness for both once they get to know each other.
Later, Sachin heads to the bike. A passerby inquires about him, and the lady reveals he’s Sayali’s husband. The man jokingly comments about Tejas and Sachin. This provokes Sachin, who sternly tells him off. The man continues, suggesting Sachin is fortunate to have Sayali and advises him to take good care of her. Sachin, unable to tolerate the insults, loses his temper and ends up in a physical altercation with the man.
