Angad tells Sahiba that he doesn’t know the truth, but he is certain that what people are thinking is wrong; he knows she is innocent. Sahiba cries for Akeer. Angad promises her that he will save Akeer’s mamma at any cost, just like she saved him from committing a sin that night.
Harneet panics, worried that Sahiba saw her shooting Angad. Arminder asks if she is crying for Diljeet, slaps her, and demands to know why she hid that Diljeet is her illegitimate child. Harneet says she wanted to tell him many times. Arminder asks why she didn’t say anything when he repeatedly questioned her. He accuses her of cleverly playing a game and not considering Amu.
Harneet insists she was worried for Amu and wanted Sahiba out of Angad’s life forever, but Sahiba killed Diljeet. Arminder says if the Brars find out that Diljeet was her illegitimate child, he won’t be able to face them. Amu walks in and asks why Harneet is crying and if they are hiding something from her. Harneet wipes her tears and denies it.
Simran tries to cheer up Akeer with her stories. Akeer cries, holding Sahiba’s photo. Sahiba recalls Akeer’s support and love for her. Akeer also recalls his mamma’s love for him. Simran shows her parents’ pictures and explains that her parents are no more; she didn’t even know who her father was when her mamma died, and orphan children have to stay in an orphanage.
Akeer cries that his mamma went somewhere. Angad walks to him. Akeer warns him to stay away, saying he is not his father, despite his mamma telling him otherwise. Angad tries to convince him that he is his real father. Akeer questions why his mamma always called Yaara/Diljeet his father and tells Angad to go away.
Harneet tells Arminder that Sahiba must have seen her when she shot Diljeet because Diljeet saw her hiding behind a tree and called her “maa.” Angad, with Garry, meets Sahiba and informs her that Akeer is inconsolable and wants to meet his mother.
Sahiba, in tears, confesses that she killed Diljeet and won’t be free soon, recalling Diljeet calling someone “maa” before dying. Angad deduces that Diljeet’s mother was present at the scene and is the one who made Diljeet rich overnight.
The inspector calls Angad, informing him that his team found something unusual at the crime scene. Angad and Garry rush there. The forensic expert reveals that another bullet shell was found near the crime scene. Angad concludes that someone else was present, and they didn’t hear another gunshot because both bullets were fired simultaneously. The expert, however, states this doesn’t prove Sahiba’s innocence as the gun found at the scene was hers, and there was no other gun.
Arminder searches for a hidden gun, recalling how he swapped the crime gun with Sahiba’s gun. A constable catches him, but he throws the gun away and escapes. Out of the flashback, he calls someone, informing them that Sahiba discovered the secret and must be eliminated in her jail cell.
Meanwhile, Sahiba continues to cry for Akeer. One inmate pities her for missing her son, while another says she deserves punishment for killing someone else’s son. Sahiba prays to God to protect her son.
