Gurnoor stood outside, savoring the cool raindrops that fell gently around her. She turned to Angad, who approached slowly, his gaze fixed on her with intensity. “Why so quiet?” she asked, breaking the silence. Angad hesitated, “It’s late, I should get some sleep.
” Gurnoor teased, “Afraid of losing control?” Angad’s mind flashed back to confessing his feelings to Garry, likening Gurnoor to Sahiba. “You know?” he questioned. Gurnoor nodded knowingly, “I know about the extra pegs.” Angad warned her about losing control herself.
He reached out, their eyes meeting briefly, as the background played “Ishaqzaade.” A sudden thunder startled them apart. Angad apologized, urging her to avoid the rain to prevent falling ill.
Back in her room, Gurnoor found Sahiba’s sari and remembered Keerat mentioning them. She looked at Sahiba’s photo in her passport, apologizing silently for the incident with Angad. She vowed to maintain her boundaries and returned the passport.
Quietly, she entered Angad’s room. As Angad dreamt of their intimate moments, he murmured “Ms. Kaur.” Gurnoor, startled, wondered why he kept mentioning her name in his sleep. Relieved that he was unaware of his actions, she left quietly. Angad, still half-asleep, muttered about seeing Sahiba in Gurnoor.
The next morning at breakfast, Garry complained of a headache from last night’s revelry. Jaspal suggested he relax, noting their heavy drinking. Angad, joining them, puzzled over his hazy memory. Garry invited him to breakfast, while Gurnoor finished feeding Akeer. Jaspal questioned if she could manage alone, prompting Keerat to suggest Angad join them, though he hesitated. Keerat decided to go along and chat with Gurnoor.
At the park, Keerat was called away by a school issue with Bani. Akeer played on the swing, and a girl approached Gurnoor with a gift from Beeja. As Beeja taunted her, Akeer was pushed on the swing, causing Gurnoor to rush to his aid.
She rejected Beeja’s gift, who warned her of consequences. Back home, Gurnoor realized she couldn’t stay long at Brar mansion and lacked funds for a flight. Discovering a singing competition flyer with a cash prize, she called and enrolled, hoping to win enough for a ticket. Akeer found the gift box and inspected it as Angad passed by, noticing his interest.
