Angad and Sahiba pursue Diljeet, pleading with him to return their son. Diljeet, however, refuses and tries to escape once more. Angad accuses him of kidnapping Akeer, claiming to be Akeer’s secret friend. Sahiba interjects, asserting that Diljeet cannot be Akeer’s secret friend and urges him to stop. Diljeet evades them, hiding behind a tree before making another attempt to flee. Meanwhile, the Gurudwara chief hands over the records of orphaned children to Harleen. As she examines them, she asks for confirmation of a particular name. The chief assures her of the accuracy, stating that they submit the records to the government annually and cannot be mistaken. Harleen has a sudden realization that Diljeet is her son.
Diljeet adamantly refuses to return Akeer, boldly declaring to Angad that Akeer is his son, not Angad’s. He goes further, threatening to jump off a cliff if Angad approaches. Sahiba pleads with him to step aside, reminding him of his deep love for Akeer. Diljeet expresses his fear that Angad will take Akeer away from him, recounting how he cared for Akeer during the first five days of his life when Sahiba was unconscious.
Angad threatens to kill Diljeet, who, in a desperate move, jumps from a cliff. Angad follows, managing to grab hold of Diljeet mid-air. Sahiba joins them, and together they pull Diljeet to safety. They forcibly take Akeer away from Diljeet, with Angad refusing to let Diljeet come near his own son. Sahiba tries to revive Akeer, but Angad, furious at Diljeet’s actions, beats him for endangering Akeer’s life.
Despite the beating, Diljeet insists that Akeer is his son. Angad, unmoved, continues to attack him mercilessly. Sahiba intervenes, stating that Angad is not waking up to reality. Rushing to Akeer’s side, Angad leaves Diljeet momentarily. Seizing the opportunity, Diljeet struggles to his feet and proclaims, “He is my son!”
Angad, enraged, warns Diljeet not to mention his son again and resumes the brutal assault. Sahiba, however, steps in once more, admonishing both men. She reveals that Angad had abandoned her and Akeer years ago, while Diljeet had viciously injured Garry, showing that there is little difference between their actions. Despite this, Angad declares he will never allow Diljeet near Akeer, continuing his assault.
Sahiba accuses Diljeet of attempting to harm Akeer and claims she made a grave error by including his name on Akeer’s birth certificate, asserting he is not Akeer’s father. Diljeet pleads for her not to say such things. Angad joins in, shouting at Diljeet. Sahiba declares that Akeer is solely her son, warning both of them to stay away from him. She then heads towards the hospital, with Angad attempting to follow.
Diljeet, desperate, grabs Angad’s leg, but Angad tries to break free. The police arrive and forcibly pull Diljeet away. Manveer emerges from a jeep, inquiring about Angad’s well-being and Akeer’s whereabouts. Angad informs him that Sahiba has taken Akeer to the hospital.
Manveer orders the police to arrest Diljeet. Angad accuses Diljeet of being Akeer’s secret friend who kidnapped him. Diljeet tries to explain, pointing out that Garry is the actual secret friend and describes what happened. However, Angad and Manveer refuse to listen, shouting and yelling as the police arrest Diljeet.
Sahiba rushes Akeer to the hospital, where the doctor informs her that his pulse rate is low and further tests are needed. Sahiba waits anxiously outside the examination room. Angad arrives and inquires about Akeer’s condition. Sahiba shares the grim news with him.
After some time, the doctor emerges and explains that they can provide more information once the blood test results are back. Keerat approaches Sahiba in tears, revealing that Garry had mentioned going to his brother to help him in his time of need, and now he’s in the ICU. Inside the ICU, doctors work to stabilize Garry as Jasleen, overwhelmed with emotion, weeps at his side. Angad tries to reassure Jasleen, expressing confidence in Garry’s recovery.
In a moment of anguish, Jasleen blames Sahiba for her husband’s condition, accusing her of supporting Diljeet, which she believes led to these unfortunate events. She holds Sahiba partially responsible for the situation.
