Angad and Akeer are horrified to find Diljeet dead on the floor, with Sahiba holding a gun. Akeer, in distress, asks what happened to his yaara. Angad embraces him tightly as passersby stop their truck, shocked by the sight.
Garry arrives next, and Angad requests him to take Akeer away from the scene. Akeer resists, repeatedly asking about his yaara and his mamma. Garry reassures him that nothing will happen to his yaara and escorts him away.
In shock, Sahiba admits to Angad that she killed Diljeet. Angad, trying to calm her, asks how it happened. Sahiba recalls telling Diljeet he was unfit for her.
Diljeet reminded her that he had cared for her and Akeer for six years after Angad abandoned them, questioning how he could now be unfit. He demanded she marry him and tried to force her into his car. In the struggle, she grabbed his gun and accidentally shot him.
Onlookers begin to gather, discussing that Sahiba shot Diljeet, as she still holds the gun. They call the police. Several women also gather at the scene. Angad quickly snatches the gun from Sahiba and throws it away.
When the police arrive, the women accuse Sahiba of shooting Diljeet and point out where the gun was thrown. Angad insists Sahiba is innocent, but the police arrest her and take her away in a jeep.
Angad promises Sahiba that he will save her. Sahiba, acknowledging Angad as Akeer’s biological father, expresses her confidence that he will take good care of Akeer. Angad vows to follow her. The police van departs, followed by an ambulance carrying Diljeet. Angad reflects bitterly that even in death, Diljeet has caused trouble for Sahiba.
At the Brar mansion, Bebe endeavored to console Akeer, offering him reassurance about his mother’s return. Keerat brought milk for him, but he declined, seeking answers about his Yaara and longing for his mother.
Bebe assured him that his mother would return soon. Simran approached Akeer, extending her apologies for her earlier behavior and extending a hand of friendship, which brought a smile to Akeer’s face.
Meanwhile, Manveer confided in Jasleen about the hardships the poor child had endured in their home, while Angad fretted over Sahiba’s predicament. Angad arrived at the police station just as Sahiba did, adamantly refusing to allow the police to incarcerate her.
He vehemently argued with the inspector, asserting that Sahiba was innocent of Diljeet’s murder, claiming that he himself was the perpetrator. The inspector countered with evidence from numerous witnesses, alleging Sahiba’s affair with Diljeet and her motive for his murder when he proposed marriage.
Angad, consumed with fury, attempted to physically confront the inspector, defending Sahiba’s honor. Sahiba intervened, urging him to cease his actions and not exacerbate the situation.
The inspector issued a stern warning about the consequences of assaulting an officer on duty. Angad humbly apologized and implored the inspector to release Sahiba, insisting on her innocence. Reluctantly, the inspector relented, allowing Angad to approach Sahiba.
Angad expressed his unwavering belief in Sahiba’s innocence, convinced that there must be overlooked evidence. Meanwhile, Harneet, overwhelmed with grief for Diljeet, struggled with the memory of witnessing Sahiba shoot him, hoping fervently that Sahiba had not noticed her presence.
