The episode begins with Shivam spotting Sachi and realizing she lied about going to London. Meanwhile, Aaji confronts Mandira in her room. Mandira complains about being insulted and claims she could have exposed Aaji.
Aaji retorts that she would have kicked Mandira out and calls her foolish for getting caught. Mandira apologizes and promises to be more careful, but Aaji threatens to throw her out and leaves.
Sajeeri is organizing her clothes in the cupboard when she finds pictures of Sachi. She wishes for Sachi’s happiness and puts the photos on the wall. She prepares for Shivam’s arrival, determined to be ready on time. As she gets ready, the song “Behka hai mann” plays. Shivam, thinking about Sachi, drives recklessly and returns home.
Seeing the room redecorated, Shivam gets furious. He yells at Sajeeri for touching his things and breaks a vase in anger. Sajeeri tries to calm him down, offering to change everything back, but Shivam continues his tirade, calling her stupid and throwing her clothes from the rack. He becomes enraged upon seeing Sachi’s picture on the wall and demands to know why it’s there.
Sajeeri explains that Sachi is like family, but Shivam insists she is not and that only parents and family members are considered family. He breaks the picture frame and orders Sajeeri to throw the picture outside. When she cries, he decides to do it himself, but she stops him.
As he raises his hand to strike her, Nalini intervenes and slaps him. Vikram and Aaji watch as Nalini reprimands Shivam for attempting to hit his wife, emphasizing that it’s wrong to raise a hand against any woman.
Vikram claps mockingly and praises Shivam for showing his true colors, claiming Shivam is more like him than Nalini. He boasts that Shivam has his blood, not Nalini’s values, and that he is proud of him.
Vikram taunts Nalini, saying Shivam is a lion’s son and won’t be tamed by her. He advises Shivam to keep Sajeeri under control, treating her as lesser. Sajeeri, however, speaks up, asserting that a wife is a life partner, not someone to be trampled on.
She insists that a real man supports and respects his wife, never hurting her. Vikram dismisses her words as typical of local women and urges Shivam to control Sajeeri, warning that she will lecture him for life otherwise.
Nalini goes to her room and says, “I slapped Shivam for the first time today. He made such a big mistake.” She takes a scale and begins to hurt her hand. Sajeeri arrives and stops her. Shivam enters and looks on, apologizing to Nalini. Aaji watches.
Nalini says, “You disliked Vikram for this kind of behavior, and now you’ve done the same.” Shivam replies, “I’m sorry, I’m not like Dad.” Nalini responds, “You did wrong by Sajeeri. I can’t forgive you until she does.” Sajeeri suggests he apply haldi lep to Nalini’s hand and leaves.
Nalini refuses, saying, “I made a mistake in your upbringing. You will see me in pain now.” She leaves. Aaji comments, “Nalini slapped you because of this girl.” Shivam replies, “She’s my mum. If I make a mistake, she has every right to stop me.” He leaves. Sajeeri rearranges the room to Shivam’s liking. Shivam enters, notices the changes, and puts Sajeeri’s family photo on the wall.
