The scene unfolds with Sajeeri eager to share details about her education with Shivam. However, Shivam interrupts, expressing his need for sustenance and medication. He inquires about a nearby café from the nurse. Sajeeri prompts him to check his pocket, where he discovers sugar-free laddoos she has prepared. Gratefully, he thanks her as Nalini offers him water.
Meanwhile, the doctor delivers positive news of Supriya’s successful operation, bringing relief to everyone. Aaji excitedly plans a grand welcome for Shivam and his wife, anticipating their arrival as they hear the car horn outside. Nalini enters, prompting Aaji to inquire about Shivam and his spouse’s whereabouts.
To everyone’s astonishment, Shivam enters first, with Sajeeri following closely behind. Aaji and Vikram are visibly taken aback by the unexpected turn of events. Nalini clarifies that Sajeeri is their daughter-in-law, causing Aaji to drop the aarti plate in shock. Quick to react, Sajeeri catches it, averting any potential misfortune.
Bua remarks on the fortunate outcome, suggesting that the mishap didn’t occur, while Nalini asserts that Sajeeri has proven herself to be a harbinger of prosperity. Encouraging Aaji and Vikram to retire and rest, Nalini establishes Sajeeri’s role within the family. Mandira observes Aaji’s silence, puzzled by her lack of reaction.
Nalini warmly greets Shivam and Sajeeri as they enter, marking Sajeeri’s grahpravesh. Afterwards, she goes to Aaji with sweets, but the joy turns sour when Aaji reacts furiously.
Aaji slaps Nalini, outraged that Shivam was supposed to marry Sachi, not Sajeeri. Vikram blames Nalini for bringing this trouble into their lives, while Aaji accuses her of ruining Shivam’s future.
Meanwhile, Sajeeri, feeling shy, encounters Shivam in their room. Despite his welcoming gesture, she sees him hugging Riya and feels a pang of discomfort. Riya hands Sajeeri a card, and she thanks her, trying to maintain composure.
Nalini defends herself, insisting she mentioned Sajeeri’s name, but Aaji and Vikram remain unconvinced. Others join in, reminding Nalini of the pandit’s recommendation for an early wedding. Aaji, dismissing Nalini’s argument, berates her further, vowing to kick Sajeeri out within six months.
Shivam, pondering Sajeeri’s possible remorse, feels it’s futile now. Meanwhile, Sajeeri, fretting over her lack of education, receives a call from Sangeeta and assures her everything is fine. Concerned about Sachi, she tries to reach her but finds the number unreachable.
Nalini defends Sajeeri, claiming she’s a better match for Shivam, but Aaji counters, stating Shivam doesn’t love Sajeeri. Vikram emphasizes the importance of respect in a marriage and indirectly blames Nalini for disregarding it. Sharad intervenes to prevent Vikram from hurting Nalini further.
Vikram reminds Nalini of past grievances, but she insists Sajeeri will heal Shivam’s wounds with her love, believing she made the right choice. As Shivam returns, Sajeeri hesitates to share her discomfort, but he dismisses her concerns about sharing the bed, uninterested in discussing it further.
