The episode begins with Priya complimenting Sajeeri. Shivam enters the scene. Bua Ji reassures Nalini not to worry and encourages her to let Shivam talk to his prospective bride. Mandira, feeling uneasy, thinks to herself that Sajeeri isn’t a good match for anyone and resolves to stop the engagement.
Sajeeri smiles and admires herself in the mirror. Shivam approaches her and apologizes for his abruptness, asking if she is comfortable with the engagement and if she agreed under any pressure. Sajeeri assures him that there is no issue. Shivam leaves without seeing her face.
The pandit announces that only five minutes remain until the engagement. Shivam heads downstairs, where Nalini smiles at him. Sharad informs that Priya is bringing the girl and her family.
Mandira decides to include Aaji in the ceremony via video call, as she is not present, and tells everyone about her plan. Bua Ji praises Mandira for the idea and suggests making a video call to Urmila/Aaji.
Sajeeri comes downstairs. Nalini expresses her faith by saying, “I trust Bappa.” Mandira, plotting her next move, thinks to herself, “I will play my move.” Aaji answers the video call, but the network gets disconnected. Seizing the opportunity, Mandira switches off the lights, muttering that Sajeeri cannot become her Devrani. Nalini, confused, asks what happened. Adarsh volunteers to switch on the generator.
The pandit urges Nalini to hurry, as there is only one minute left for the auspicious time. Nalini instructs them to turn on the generator. Shivam reassures her and proceeds to place the ring on Sajeeri’s finger.
Mandira, frustrated, thinks, “What’s the use of cutting the electricity when there’s already darkness in his mind?” Nalini then asks Sajeeri to make Shivam wear the ring, which she does. Adarsh restores the power, and Shivam finally sees Sajeeri’s face, leaving him shocked.
Shivam recalls Sachi’s words. The pandit announces that the engagement happened within the auspicious time and they will be happy. Nalini hugs Shivam. Priya remarks on how beautiful Sajeeri looks and Nalini congratulates them.
Suddenly, Shivam shouts that this relationship can’t happen. He exclaims that he didn’t know Sajeeri was Nalini’s choice and that he can’t go through with the marriage. He accuses Sajeeri of deceiving him and tries to remove the ring.
However, this was just his imagination. In reality, he tells Priya he needs to talk. Priya congratulates Shivam and hugs him. Mandira questions Sajeeri about how their relationship started. Sajeeri explains that they used to chat, fate brought them together, and they developed a friendship. Hearing this, Shivam feels upset and tells his friends to behave. Feeling embarrassed, he drags Sajeeri aside.
