The episode begins with Aaji accusing Sajeeri of lying about Nalini calling her, insinuating that she came running to avoid poverty. Sajeeri denies this, but Nalini confirms she didn’t make any such call. Shivam arrives and reveals that he went to Sajeeri’s house, believing Nalini was unwell, as per a call from Sajeeri’s mother.
Mandira boasts about her plan, which involved calling Sajeeri to ensure she wouldn’t stay at their house as planned. Aaji confronts Sajeeri, accusing her of lying and manipulating the situation to avoid staying with them.
Shivam defends Sajeeri, stating he arrived on time but she had already left due to a call she received. Sajeeri explains she got scared after receiving the call. Nalini denies making the call, and Aaji grows tired of the lies. Shivam reprimands Sajeeri and leaves.
Priya suggests allowing Sajeeri inside, but she insists on a ritual where the married women of the house must eat sweets before she enters. Aaji, feeling insulted by Sajeeri’s request, decides to punish her by making her stay outside all night, refusing to let anyone eat the sweets.
Sajeeri apologizes to Nalini, explaining her actions were out of concern, and promises to return to her maternal home if she’s wrong. Nalini forgives her and eats the sweets, followed by everyone else. Anjali enjoys the sweets and asks if they were made by Sajeeri’s mother. Mandira, trying to blend in, also eats the sweets, as does Adarsh, who asks her to bring some for him too. Aaji notices their actions and they quickly hide, realizing their mistake.
Aaji notices that everyone has eaten the sweets and warmly invites Sajeeri inside. Sajeeri hesitates, feeling that Aaji hasn’t forgiven her. Nalini reassures Sajeeri, mentioning Aaji’s kind nature. Aaji, with a smile, questions why Sajeeri is standing outside, emphasizing that she is part of the family and should come in. She then playfully asks Sajeeri to give her some sweets.
After eating the sweets, Nalini joyfully takes Sajeeri home. Aaji pretends to faint, causing a commotion. Shivam arrives, and Mandira explains the situation, suggesting that the sweets might have caused Aaji’s fainting spell. Vikram questions Sajeeri about the sweets’ contents, but she insists she added nothing harmful.
Aaji quickly recovers and suggests it might have been the ghee. Sajeeri defends her use of pure ghee, noting that it’s homemade. Despite the tension, Aaji defends Sajeeri when Shivam gets upset, but Mandira criticizes Sajeeri for not adapting to their lifestyle, suggesting she’s only interested in a lavish life.
Vikram tries to lighten the mood by offering Aaji an Italian perfume, which she refuses, expressing her desire for Sajeeri to leave. However, Sajeeri, determined to make amends, prepares a healing drink for Aaji and sincerely apologizes. Aaji, moved by Sajeeri’s gesture, forgives her and asks her to take on more household responsibilities. Aaji, though, secretly plans to create friction between Shivam and Sajeeri to compel Shivam to ask her to leave.
