Vasundara notices Vaiju and invites her over, knowing Ranvijay’s fondness for sheera. Persuaded, Vaiju reluctantly tastes it, her thoughts drifting to memories of Durga, causing tears to well up. Encouraging her, Vasundara suggests she deliver the sheera to Ranvijay. Fearful of his reaction, Vaiju hesitates, but Vasundara reassures her, “He’s not that bad.
Mend the rift caused by Jaya.” Vaiju nods reluctantly and takes the sheera to Ranvijay. Angered by her presence, he scolds her for intruding in his life, pushing her away roughly, causing the sheera to spill. Alone, Vaiju calls Aaji, painting a rosy picture to reassure her. Encouraged by Aaji’s faith in her resilience, Vaiju vows, “I never give up.” Determined, she devises a plan. Meanwhile, Naagraj dismisses Vaiju’s emotions as drama, while Sulekha fears her unpredictability.
Later, Vaiju washes Ranvijay’s shirt, opting for a traditional remedy, a personal penance. As the family gathers, Vasundara observes with pride. Vaiju prays for success, confident it will work.
The next morning, Vasundara prepares breakfast while Vaiju mentions her plan to visit Raja the cow, renowned for his finicky tastes. Amused, Vasundara encourages her to go ahead. Vaiju playfully sings while preparing food, catching Vasundara and Sulekha’s attention. Sulekha jokes about her culinary skills tailored for livestock. Vaiju thanks Vasundara sincerely.
As Ranvijay prepares to leave, Vasundara insists he eats something. Reluctantly, he tastes Vaiju’s roti, surprised by its taste. Vasundara asks him how it is, and he grudgingly admits it’s good, even suggesting everyone try it. Vaiju beams with pride as Ranvijay praises her cooking, perplexed by her smile.
Later, Vaiju presents the washed shirt to Ranvijay, who initially refuses to take it. At Vasundara’s insistence, he reluctantly inspects it, stunned to find it immaculate. Vasundara suggests he keep it in the cupboard, and Ranvijay, impressed despite himself, complies.
Ranvijay and Vaiju visit the doctor together. Concerned, Vaiju inquires about Jaya’s condition, learning of positive signs. Ranvijay interrupts, dismissing her concerns and asserting his role in Jaya’s care. The doctor reassures them of Jaya’s improving condition, urging them to remain hopeful. Ranvijay privately resolves, “Once Jaya recovers, I’ll be free of Vaiju.”
