The episode begins with Vaiju excitedly showing a picture she found in her wallet to Vasundara, which leads to laughter among everyone except for a puzzled Ranvijay. Vaiju jokes about the picture, and Vasundara remarks on how everyone had refused to keep it but Ranvijay had kept it safe.
As they look at Ranvijay’s old photos, even he joins in the laughter. Vaiju apologizes, feeling responsible for everyone laughing at him. However, Ranvijay spots a picture of him and Jaya behind the one Vaiju found, which puts him at ease.
Vasundara announces they should leave and meet at the marriage, prompting Jaya to come out. Ranvijay notices her and calls out, but she quickly hides, and he misses seeing her. Rao Sahab checks if everything is alright, and Vaiju waves goodbye as they depart.
Later, a little girl approaches Jaya and reveals that Ranvijay had her picture in his wallet. Jaya bribes her with laddoos to keep it a secret and then joins the others for the haldi function, congratulating them. Vaiju asks where she was, and Jaya explains her phone was off, and she had stepped out briefly. They hug.
Meanwhile, Ranvijay, still worried, recalls seeing Jaya and wonders if it was just his imagination. He calls Jaya’s friend Kirti to inquire about her whereabouts. Learning she’s in Nandi Partan, he is shocked. He then tries to call Jaya, but Vaiju sees the call and asks why he’s calling. Jaya, pretending, answers and assures him she was just at Vaiju’s house.
Ranvijay, struggling with his emotions, asks if she was there and expresses his inner turmoil. Jaya, maintaining her facade, agrees and abruptly ends the call, eventually turning off her phone when he tries again. Vaiju, curious, asks about the call, and Jaya brushes it off, saying he was just suggesting she wear a yellow dress for the occasion.
Aai requests Jaya to bring the haldi bowl, but Jaya, feeling unwell, opts to rest instead. She asks Kaveri to place the haldi bowl in the car. Vaiju notices Jaya’s reluctance to participate in the rituals and asks her if something is bothering her. Jaya, expressing her deep bond with Vaiju, shares her sadness about Vaiju leaving the house after marriage. Vaiju reassures Jaya of their unbreakable bond as sisters.
As everyone gathers for the haldi ceremony, Vasundara warmly welcomes them. Ranvijay observes the proceedings with interest. Jaikant, in high spirits, celebrates his brother’s upcoming marriage, eagerly anticipating Vaiju becoming his sister-in-law.
During the ceremony, Kaki points out that as a widow, Aai shouldn’t perform the aarti. The pandit agrees, but Ranvijay intervenes, advocating for change and respecting Aai’s role in raising them single-handedly.
Moved by his words, Vaiju also supports her mother, insisting that Aai should perform the aarti. Eventually, the pandit relents, allowing Aai to conduct the aarti. Aai, touched by the support, praises Vaiju for managing the household expenses and expresses her pride and blessings for her.
Meanwhile, Jaya, contemplating her feelings, decides to leave. Vasundara recognizes her and invites her to participate in the haldi ritual, urging her to apply haldi to the bride and groom. Jaya hesitantly joins, feeling a mix of emotions as she partakes in the ceremony.
