Jhanak 1st May 2024 written Episode: Full Update only on Yo Desi Serials.
The scene opens with Anirudh suggesting that perhaps the priest tied the same color thread on Jhanak as well. Curiosity piques, and everyone turns to Jhanak for an explanation. She reveals that during a ceremony, the priest tied the thread on her hand, just like he did with others. Arshi finds it odd that both Jhanak and Anirudh have the same yellow thread.
Anirudh dismisses it as a coincidence, which only seems to agitate Arshi further. She probes Anirudh, asking if he visited Jhanak’s shoot. Anirudh, slightly exasperated, reaffirms that he has already answered this question before. Unconvinced, Arshi insists that Jhanak remove the thread. Jhanak questions why she should be the only one asked to do so, leading to a heated argument.
Shubh intervenes, calling for an end to the argument. Jhanak, however, is adamant and demands to know why Anirudh is not being asked to remove his thread. Bipasha chimes in, accusing Jhanak of always misbehaving. Arshi, losing her patience, threatens to remove the sacred thread herself. Jhanak challenges this, questioning why she should remove it just because they are wearing the same thread. Amidst the escalating tension, they pressure Jhanak to remove her thread.
Anirudh, attempting to diffuse the situation, decides to remove his thread, stating that no one should speak to Jhanak anymore. Tanuja criticizes him for removing the sacred thread, scolding Jhanak in the process. Feeling misunderstood, Jhanak stands her ground, pointing out that they seem more concerned about Anirudh than her and asserts that no one can force her to remove the thread. The confrontation reaches a climax as Arshi raises her voice in anger towards Jhanak.
She challenges, “Let’s see if you can use your strength now that Anirudh has removed his Mauli; it’s your turn.” Jhanak asserts, “I may be helpless, but I’m not weak. What are you trying to prove? Do you think Anirudh and I have a relationship?” Arshi interrupts angrily. Jhanak continues, “Tell me, do you all believe this? Because I don’t. I won’t remove this Mauli.”
At home, Shrishti finishes a call. Arshi asks, “When are Bharat Mama and the others coming?” Shrishti replies, “Things are tough there. Tejas has threatened Bharat; he can do anything. The situation is tense.” Arshi expresses concern, “I hope Tejas doesn’t win the elections; he will make our life tough.” Shrishti adds, “If Tejas wins, he will take Jhanak away.
He is in my team.” Arshi defends Anirudh. Jhanak enters Anirudh’s room and asks for the bank documents. He angrily throws them at her, shocking her. Arshi recalls Jhanak’s words and concludes, “Jhanak has actually done it.” Shrishti is shocked and asks how dare she. Arshi explains her plan to remove Jhanak’s Mauli, which Anirudh was also wearing. Shrishti infers, “It means they were together.” Arshi disagrees, narrating the whole incident.
Shrishti accuses, “They are lying. You support Anirudh, who spent a night with a maid.” Arshi defends Anirudh, stating, “No, he isn’t lying.” Shrishti gives her an ultimatum, “Ask Anirudh to break all ties with Jhanak.” Arshi maintains her trust, “I trust him. He wasn’t with Jhanak.” Jhanak and Anirudh start arguing.
Jhanak says, “You speak well, so why is it wrong if I asked for what’s mine? Do you think your behavior is right? Do I deserve this?” Anirudh responds, “You are very bad.” She retorts, “Fine, then do what you should do. Why didn’t you keep a bad person in your house?” Shrishti chimes in, “You always defend Anirudh. I wish you never met him.
You are repeating the same mistake.” Anirudh taunts Jhanak about Aditya and tells her, “You should be ashamed of yourself.” Jhanak replies, “You are saying disgusting things. You should be ashamed. You think you are educated and intelligent. You understand what I meant. Sorry to come and waste your time. I’m going to the bank. You can tell the family about it.” Anirudh says, “I’m not your guardian.
” She responds, “No one is my guardian.” He tells her to handle her problem and inform the family herself. She insists, “You brought me here, so it’s my responsibility to tell you. I work in your house.” He asks, “Did I treat you like a maid?” She admits, “Maybe not, but you always reminded me of it.” He dismisses her, saying she’s talking big things, and insults her.
She taunts him back. He warns her, “Go if the family is okay, else you can’t go.” She asserts, “I’m not your house’s daughter-in-law that I will stay here.” He accuses her of being changed by Aditya overnight, and she scolds him.
They argue fiercely. He accuses her of neglecting her studies, reminding her that he had asked her to prepare for exams. She retorts, urging him to consider his own life and focus on their marriage instead of obsessing over their maid’s education.
She asserts that she alone is responsible for her life choices. He questions if Aditya, presumably another family member, is accountable. She denies this, affirming her sole responsibility. She expresses frustration, stating that she feels trapped in the current situation, constantly facing humiliation.
She reminds him of the favors she has done for him and asserts that her self-respect is paramount. She warns that once her self-respect outweighs his favors, she will leave the house forever.
