The episode begins with Dadi and Dadu scolding Choton, insisting he leave. Baren intervenes, suggesting they all sit down for a meal. Dadi refuses, stating they can’t even have water. Choton defends himself, reminding them they encouraged him to love Laxmi, which has now upset them. Anjana interrupts, calling out Choton’s theatrics. He counters, questioning why she had asked him to ensure Laxmi’s success if not for her importance.
Confusion clears as they realize he’s referring to the deity Laxmi Mata, leading to laughter all around. Mrinalini chides him playfully for his antics. Choton, affectionately calling Laxmi Mata “Potu,” explains her significance in his life, placing the blame for any misunderstanding squarely on their shoulders. Baren resolves the tension, inviting Choton to sit while requesting tea from Mrinalini.
Meanwhile, Jhanak serves tea to Guru ji, who commends its taste and inquires about her dance training. She confesses she’s never received formal instruction, attributing her skill to her mother’s talent. He probes deeper, asking about her journey to the city and her need for work. Jhanak reveals her loneliness and tragic past, including her mother’s suicide, leaving Guru ji stunned and sympathetic.
Anirudh returns home to concerned inquiries from Shubh about Arshi’s health. He reassures them of her improving condition and anticipated discharge. Meanwhile, Guru ji expresses a desire to train Jhanak, convinced she could excel in auditions.
