Imlie approaches Surya and expresses regret over the events of the previous day, saying they shouldn’t have occurred at all. Surya, feeling disheartened, listens as she continues, telling him not to feel guilty for what happened. She acknowledges feeling guilty herself but assures him that she no longer does. She tells him to relax, reminding him that she is just his responsibility and that he doesn’t see her in any other way.
Surya responds by calling yesterday’s events a mistake and suggests they both forget about it. Imlie then exits the car and walks towards the outhouse. As she does, the song “Dil Hai Yaar Ghum Ki Rajdhani” plays softly in the background. Upon entering the outhouse, she imagines Agastya.
Surya returns home to find his family busy with wedding preparations. Confused, he asks what is happening. Arjun, looking concerned, tells him he shouldn’t see it and suggests going to his room. Malti approaches Surya and informs him that Anjali’s mother has finalized their wedding date, implying that everything will be alright now.
Surya, visibly uncomfortable, expresses his reluctance towards the marriage. Anjali, trying to convince him, reminds him of their love. However, Surya firmly states that he no longer loves her and has feelings for Imlie. He decides to keep this to himself, believing that Imlie should only consider him a responsibility, and he will bear this burden alone.
Meanwhile, Imlie notices Agastya watching her intently and asks him what’s wrong. She reassures him that she has already spoken to Surya about the previous night’s incident. Agastya, frustrated, remarks that she never listens.
As Imlie goes to answer a knock at the door, Anjali confronts her, implying that the matter is far from over. Imlie, confused, invites her in, offering water. Anjali, with a stern expression, tells Imlie that she’s not naive and understands what’s going on, hinting at a deeper conflict.
Indira strides over to Surya, her expression tight with tension. “When did this happen?” she demands. Surya’s response is measured. “It wasn’t a sudden accident,” he explains. Indira’s voice rises with frustration. “Imlie barged into our home, shamed me, defied me, tarnished our family’s honor… and despite all that, you’ve fallen for her, just like her. You must hate me as much as you adore her!” Surya’s tone softens, defending Imlie. “You don’t understand her.
Imlie stands for what’s right; she’s unlike anyone else.” Indira cuts him off sharply. “Enough! Imlie is a spark, and you’ve only fueled her fire. She’s burned down my biggest dream.” Surya’s reply is somber. “Imlie will leave soon. My dream has been shattered.” Meanwhile, Malti seeks out Anjali urgently, insisting they need to talk. Anjali reassures her, confident that whatever she envisions will come to pass.
The next morning, Pallo busily prepares for Bulbul’s wedding. Bulbul, filled with anticipation, eagerly awaits Imlie’s arrival. Pallo remarks that Bulbul seems more excited about seeing Imlie than her own wedding procession. Bulbul calls Imlie, inquiring about her whereabouts. Imlie assures her that she will arrive soon. Bulbul advises her to get ready and join them as Surya is eagerly waiting for her.
Meanwhile, Surya gets dressed for the wedding when Arjun enters the room. Surya acknowledges him with a “yes, bro.” Arjun notices Surya’s state and offers to call CJ. However, Surya reassures him that he is fine and expresses his desire to cherish every moment he can spend with Imlie.
Indira approaches Imlie and urges her to sign the divorce papers, believing that freeing Surya is the best course of action for both of them.
