Surya complimented Imlie’s smile, encouraging her to keep smiling as they discussed the music theme for the next day at the bar. Surprised by his knowledge of music, Imlie listened as Surya suggested a lullaby theme, offering examples to illustrate. To demonstrate, he began singing “Jab Kisiki Taraf Ankh Jhuknelage,” using a karaoke box. Unfortunately, water spilled on the device, rendering it unusable. Undeterred, Surya decided to sing without music, continuing the same song.
As Surya sang, Imlie blushed and playfully moved around, with Surya following suit. They eventually began dancing, getting lost in each other’s presence. Their intimacy grew, and Surya leaned in for a kiss, but a sudden thunderclap interrupted the moment. Imlie, startled, imagined seeing Agastya in front of her, feeling overwhelmed with guilt. She quickly distanced herself from Surya.
Later, as Surya returned home and headed to his room, Arjun attempted to speak with him, but CJ intervened, asking Arjun to give Surya some space. Meanwhile, Imlie tearfully confessed her “sin” to Radha Rani, indicating her deep sense of regret.
The next morning, Surya prepares for work and heads towards his car, but Imlie stops him, expressing her desire to talk about the previous night. Surya, preoccupied, brushes off the conversation for later. Just then, Pallo arrives with Bulbul’s prospective mother-in-law in an auto. Surya warmly welcomes them. Bulbul’s mother-in-law questions why Imlie is gardening when there are servants to do it. Imlie explains her love for gardening.
Pallo then invites Surya to join her in selecting wedding saris for Bulbul. However, Imlie, aware of Surya’s duties at the police station, offers to accompany Pallo instead. Pallo, sensing tension between Imlie and her in-laws, insists that Surya join them to dispel any doubts. Reluctantly, Surya agrees.
In a sari shop, Bulbul’s mother-in-law checks saris and asks Surya to help her select some. Surya, feeling out of his element, admits he doesn’t know much about saris. She then persuades Imlie to model a sari for them, and asks Surya for his opinion. Nervously, Surya comments on Imlie’s appearance.
Later, at home, Indira and her aides buy wedding jewelry and clothes for Anjali. Anjali excitedly tells Malti that soon she will be her sister-in-law. Arjun, however, warns Anjali to stop dreaming, reminding her that Surya doesn’t love her and is now in love with Imlie.
After the shopping trip, Surya tells Imlie not to worry about the shop incident. She expresses her desire to talk to him about the events of the previous night, believing that he is feeling the same way she does. Surya, thinking she knows about his love for her, feels a pang of disappointment when she instead mentions not wanting to repeat the incident from the shop.
