Imlie and Surya, along with Indira, arrive at Bhosale Institute to celebrate the Ram Navami festival. YRB and Surekha welcome them warmly. Ishaan respectfully touches Indira’s feet to seek her blessings. Ishaan and Surya engage in a playful banter, teasing each other about their professions—Ishaan as a police inspector and Surya as a professor.
Indira laughs at their exchange and asks Ishaan to introduce her to his wife. Ishaan calls Savi over, and she greets Indira and takes her blessings. Imlie, who interacts with Savi, expresses her admiration for her and mentions that she follows her on social media.
The ceremony begins with Indira and Surya inaugurating the play. As Savi shows Imlie around the college, Imlie expresses her interest in pursuing her studies and asks Savi if she enjoys the college because she studies there or because Ishaan works there. Savi responds that both reasons are important to her and proceeds to praise Ishaan’s teaching style and personality.
Imlie mentions her desire to speak with Surya, but he has been avoiding her. Savi helps her by making an announcement about Surya’s car being parked incorrectly, prompting Surya to leave the hall. When Surya finds his car parked properly, he realizes Imlie orchestrated the announcement to talk to him. The two engage in a lighthearted back-and-forth conversation.
The play begins, and Raja Janak announces the swayamvara of his daughter, Sita. Sita wishes to marry Ram, admiring his qualities. Meanwhile, Imlie and Surya’s playful banter continues, but Surya quickly acts to save Imlie when a false pillar falls towards her. Despite his heroic effort, Imlie criticizes him, expressing her frustration over their marriage.
Surya defends himself, stating that he doesn’t expect anything from Imlie and has come to terms with the fact that she dislikes him. As the play continues, actors attempt to lift a bow without success. Ishaan enters the stage as Ram, drawing applause from the audience. He demonstrates his strength by lifting the bow while chanting Om Namah Shivay.
Janak praises Ram and encourages him and Sita to exchange garlands. Imlie sings a song, and the performance progresses. Reeva becomes distracted by Ishaan’s performance and momentarily forgets her lines. Anvi prompts Savi to read Reeva’s lines for her, which Savi does successfully, but this leaves Reeva feeling down. Savi continues to praise Lord Ram, and to everyone’s surprise, places the garland around Ishaan’s neck, causing shock among the audience.
