Keith tells Baa that the judgment will be revealed later. Baa questions why he didn’t inform her earlier. She expresses her eagerness to know if Anupama prepared the dish well, as she had noted it in her diary. As the second round for the main course begins, Anupama starts preparing the dish but realizes that some ingredients are missing. She tries to recall them.
Meanwhile, Anuj goes to fetch medicines for Aadhya and Shruti. Shruti asks Aadhya if she thinks Anupama will win, to which Aadhya responds negatively.
During the competition, contestant Sara accidentally cuts her hand. Keith inquires if she can continue, but Sara admits she cannot. Anupama tries to encourage Sara and bandages her hand, but Sara decides to leave the competition.
Baa speculates that Sara might not have read her diary thoroughly. Vanraj suggests that Sara might not have had enough time to read it. Anupama continues to try and remember the missing ingredients. Meanwhile, Anuj discovers a torn page of the diary in Aadhya’s room, along with all the torn pieces in a box.
As the time for the second round ends, the judges announce it’s over. Keith asks Anupama to describe her dish, to which she replies that it’s “Undiyon ki Biryani,” Baa’s favorite dish, much to the amusement of Baa and Babuji.
Anupama proudly mentions her fusion twist of “undiyon in biryani,” referring to her innovative take on the traditional dish. The judges proceed to taste the dishes, with Keith indicating that the final judgment will be delivered later. In the third round, Anupama presents a jaggery dessert, gud papdi, which is sampled by the judges.
Baa impatiently questions why the judges are taking so long to announce their thoughts, while Shruti expresses uncertainty about whether the judges will appreciate Anupama’s authentic Gujarati dishes. Anuj counters this by highlighting the universal appeal of Indian cuisine, noting that just as they enjoy international flavors, foreigners also relish Indian dishes.
Aadhya expresses her concern that she didn’t put in enough effort and even lost her diary. Anuj reassures her, emphasizing that Anupama’s talent shines through regardless of the diary, as she has a natural flair for cooking. Sally then announces that it’s time for the results, causing Kinjal and Pari to nervously cross their fingers.
Ishu prays for Anupama’s victory, while Hitachi praises her main course, particularly the undiyon and biryani, commending her for not compromising on taste. Keith acknowledges underestimating Anupama and admits she has the potential to be a top chef, sparking applause from everyone and renewing Anupama’s confidence.
Sally announces, “We’ve reached a decision about our superstar chef.” She, along with Hitachi, beckons Keith to reveal the winner. Keith approaches the contestants, informing them that Mr. Delight is the second runner-up. Anupama and another contestant, Mr. Lee, await the results. With a dramatic flair, Keith first declares Lee as the winner, followed by a pause before announcing Anupama’s name, heightening everyone’s anticipation.
As he proclaims Anupama as the ultimate winner, he raises her hand in victory. The audience, watching on TV and mobile devices, erupts in joy. Anuj, Baa, and others celebrate Anupama’s triumph. Overwhelmed, Anupama sinks to the floor in disbelief, tears of joy streaming down her face.
Memories flash through her mind, including moments of insult from Vanraj and Toshu, as well as her initial struggles in America. Anuj comforts her, affirming her success. Sally embraces Anupama, and they adorn her with the superstar apron and present her with the prize money cheque. Baa, Babu ji, and the rest of the family rejoice, while Vanraj and Aadhya appear crestfallen.
Sally urges Anupama to speak up. Keith interjects, reminding her that this moment is unique and won’t return. Anupama asserts, “I have won this competition.” Admitting her limited English, she switches to Hindi.
“We all have dreams, but not all have the hope to fulfill them,” she begins. Anupama shares that her dream is to become a superstar chef, noting that there are many such talented women across India. In Indian households, cooking is often seen as a duty without much recognition.
She emphasizes her presence in the competition as a representative of these overlooked women, asking for a chance to prove herself. Anupama guarantees that any woman from India given a chance will excel, confidently stating, “An Indian daughter can conquer the world.”
