Anupama sits quietly, engrossed in her book. Aadhya watches her, a hint of skepticism in her eyes. She whispers to herself, convinced that Anupama’s behavior is merely an attempt to impress their father.
Meanwhile, Ansh enters Dimpy’s room, excitedly recounting his morning routine. He proudly mentions brushing his teeth, speaking to their grandparents in Gujarati, and apologizing to Mahi and Ishu. He wraps Dimpy in a hug, seeking affirmation.
Dimpy reassures him, praising his actions. Ansh then curiously asks about stepfathers, revealing that he overheard their grandfather and father discussing the topic. Worried, he questions if stepfathers are bad and expresses his desire to have only his grandfather, not a stepfather. With that, he rushes out of the room, leaving Dimpy pondering over their father’s actions.
Later, Anupama is seen singing bhajans and performing tulsi puja. Anuj overhears the devotional songs from Shruti’s room and comments on them. Anupama prays for the well-being of everyone, including her upcoming competition. Apologizing to Anuj for any inconvenience caused, she explains her initial reluctance to perform the puja, fearing Aadhya and Shruti’s disapproval. However, Anuj assures her that their presence is a part of their cultural experience, encouraging her not to feel sorry for her beliefs.
Baa and Babu ji enter the hall and inquire why Dimpy called them. Kavya and Vanraj join them. Dimpy confronts Vanraj, asking him directly if he genuinely intended to arrange her marriage with Titu or if it was all a pretense. Baa interjects, questioning why Vanraj is being blamed. Dimpy explains that Vanraj had told Ansh that having a stepfather is not good, implying that Ansh doesn’t want Titu as his stepdad. Vanraj clarifies that he was actually speaking to Babu ji, not Ansh, and denies saying anything to Ansh.
Dimpy insists that Vanraj should understand the feelings of a child. Vanraj counters, suggesting that Dimpy may not be ready to take on the responsibilities of their relationship. Kavya defends Dimpy, arguing that if she didn’t care, she wouldn’t have raised the issue. Vanraj asserts that if he had an issue, he would have addressed it directly with Titu. He concludes by stating that there could be various reasons for the situation and promises to talk to Ansh in the morning, asking them not to blame him in the future.
Meanwhile, Anuj brings Shruti and Aadhya for the puja. Shruti admits she doesn’t know how to perform the puja since she hasn’t done it in the morning. Aadhya reassures her, saying that God resides in the heart and there’s no need to show off. Anupama explains the significance of the puja, emphasizing that it is done to illuminate, strengthen, and purify the heart.
She encourages Shruti to perform the puja, explaining that it’s a family tradition. Shruti, Anuj, and Aadhya conduct the puja, while Anupama sings a bhajan. After the bhajan, Anuj performs the aarti for Aadhya, Shruti, and Anupama.
Anuj expresses to Anupama how her presence has infused the house with positivity, suggesting she performs the shank nath ritual. Anupama obliges, playing the shank, then proceeds to the kitchen for a brief prayer.
While attempting to reach for a canister, Anuj assists her, which earns Anupama‘s gratitude. As a romantic tune fills the air, Anuj pensively contemplates poetry while preparing his coffee or tea. Meanwhile, Aadhya searches for him, stumbling upon Anupama’s diary, which she briefly peruses before returning it.
Curious about Anupama’s culinary endeavor, Anuj inquires, and she reveals her preparation of Moong ki Dal ka Halwa, recalling Choti’s fondness for it in her childhood. Anuj acknowledges her continued fondness for the dish and encourages her focus on the upcoming competition. Anupama, torn between her dedication to both the competition and her daughter, is reassured by Anuj’s understanding. However, when Aadhya unexpectedly enters the scene, Anupama wonders if her daughter overheard their conversation.
Aadhya questions their presence, prompting Anuj to explain his coffee-making intentions for Shruti. With Anuj’s departure, Aadhya bluntly requests Anupama to keep her distance, to which Anupama offers to still provide food and medication. As Anuj and Shruti depart, Aadhya bids farewell, then inadvertently topples a table. Anupama rushes to help, but Aadhya recoils, pleading for her to stay away.
