Aadhya continues to admire the beauty of the décor, prompting a swell of happiness within Anuj as he privately acknowledges that their hard work has paid off – their daughter appreciates the effort.
A nurse compliments the decorations to Aadhya, mentioning Anupama and her father’s efforts, then goes to fetch coffee for Shruti. Anuj seizes the opportunity to mention this to Aadhya, but her reaction is unexpected as she becomes hysterical, inadvertently destroying the decorations despite efforts from Anuj and Shruti to stop her.
Shruti reproaches Anuj, reminding him of her warning not to involve Anupama in the festivities. Aadhya vents her frustration, questioning why Anupama had to spoil her special day when she explicitly stated her desire not to see her. In her anger, she curses Anupama, wishing ill upon her own special day. Anuj is left stunned by the turn of events.
Meanwhile, at the restaurant, Anupama arrives to congratulations from Vikram on Aadhya’s birthday. She expresses gratitude before swiftly shifting focus to the impending arrival of a food critic, emphasizing the importance of efficiency and timely service as per Yashdeep sir’s instructions.
With determination, she rallies her team to prepare and deliver orders promptly. As the food critics arrive, Anupama warmly introduces herself and her team, eager to showcase their culinary prowess.
Back at home, Anuj cleans up the remnants of the ruined decorations, feeling a pang of sympathy for Anupama. At the restaurant, Anupama proudly introduces her staff as her extended family to the food critic, who in turn praises her establishment and her dedication.
However, amidst the accolades, Aadhya’s outburst interrupts, expressing her animosity towards Anupama. Shruti, dismayed by Anuj’s inaction, tries to salvage the situation, urging Aadhya not to let it ruin her mood and suggesting they celebrate elsewhere to avoid Anupama’s presence.
Anupama and Vikram graciously offer the welcome drink and laddoo to the critics, who express their appreciation. Yashdeep confides in Anupama about his risk-taking to fulfill her dream of opening another restaurant, planning to share the news once everything is finalized.
As the food critic examines the menu card, Anupama warmly greets the regular customers, one of whom requests Daliya, which is not on the menu. Unfazed, Anupama declares their willingness to prepare whatever the customer desires, likening their approach to treating customers as deities and highlighting Spice and Chutney’s commitment to hospitality. Anupama reassures that nothing is too difficult for a mother, drawing a parallel to how mothers swiftly prepare specific foods for their children or else face tears, a skill honed through the fast-paced demands of motherhood. The critic nods in agreement.
Meanwhile, Aadhya descends the stairs in her party attire and apologizes to Anuj, who wipes away his tears. She explains that Shruti has arranged a party at a hotel and goes to inform her friends of the change in plans. Observing this, Shruti confides in Anuj about Aadhya’s desire for her to be her mother figure rather than Anupama.
Anupama then serves Aam Panna to the critics, which they also enjoy. She inquires about their preferences for the main course. Meanwhile, Toshu mistakenly serves pav bhaji instead of chole to a customer, leading to a heated exchange where the customer becomes enraged. Anupama becomes visibly anxious as the food critics watch the scene unfold.
Shruti expresses her concern to Anuj, suggesting that Aadhya may not recover if Anupama remains present and asks him to request Anupama to leave. She then instructs Nurse Ana to take care and goes to attend to a customer. The customer informs her that he had ordered chole bhature. Toshu accuses him of changing his order after seeing another customer with the dish.
Anupama calmly assures the customer that she will prepare the chole bhature for him. Toshu persists in his accusation, but Anupama signals him to remain quiet. Vikram intervenes and takes Toshu away. Anupama reprimands Toshu for his behavior, and he apologizes. She informs Vikram that they need to prepare the main course.
Aadhya’s friends arrive at the hotel to wish her a happy birthday. Anuj jokingly asks Shruti if one of Aadhya’s friends attended her last birthday as well, which amuses Shruti. Aadhya requests the cake, and Anuj assures her it’s ready, glancing at the cake prepared by Anupama. He considers informing Anupama but decides against it, thinking she must be busy.
