The episode begins with Babuji entering the in-house temple, searching for the bhog. Indra informs him, “You won’t find anything today. You already consumed all the panch amrit.” Babuji pleads, “Don’t tell Warden Anupama.” Indra corrects him, “She’s not a warden.” Babuji insists, “She’s been my warden for years. Please don’t complain.” Indra reassures, “I won’t, but Shetty will.
” Babuji shares, “Shetty often complains to Anu about me and mocks my hair.” Shetty retorts, “Stop mentioning my hair.” Anupama arrives. Shetty reports, “Babuji finished all the panch amrit and misri, and now he wants laddoo.” Babuji counters, “Shetty writes letters to Katrina Kaif but lacks the courage to send them. Show some courage and don’t call me bald.
” Shetty protests, “Don’t call me bald.” Anupama intervenes, “Let’s start the aarti.” They are then distracted by music from the neighbor’s house. A man suggests, “Let’s do aarti and ignore the neighbors.” Pakhi is seen sleeping with loud music on. Anupama proceeds with the aarti.
Vanraj, discussing work, approaches the dining table, followed by a servant carrying clothes. Baa places tea on the table and becomes upset seeing Kavya’s photo on a magazine cover. She complains, “Modeling at this age and leaving Mahi behind to go abroad? Pakhi and Toshu sleep all day.
Dimpy and Titu are busy with dance class, and Kinjal manages the house alone. In this big bungalow, no one talks, and we can’t talk to the neighbor because Anupama lives next door. Your Babuji stays with her in Asha Bhavan. They may be poor and troubled, but they’re not sad. Anupama has everyone now, as if she’s in Vrindavan.” Vanraj responds, “You’re not living in Kans Palace.
” Baa retorts, “Handle your family.” Vanraj defends, “I’ve done my part. I can’t control them. Don’t talk about an eclipse in front of the sun. Don’t bring her up.” Baa insists, “I can talk about my husband.” Vanraj explains, “He refused to come. What can I do? Once the builder finishes the tower, we’ll all have our own flats and won’t need to live here.”
Pakhi arrives, and Vanraj tells her to keep her music volume low to avoid disturbing everyone. He asks her about her doctor’s appointment, and Pakhi replies she’ll handle both her therapy and the doctor’s visit. Baa inquires why Vanraj isn’t going to the office, and he responds that he’s waiting for something. He presents Pakhi with a bouquet and wishes her a happy birthday, gifting her a ring.
Pakhi is delighted, but Baa remarks that it must be expensive and advises against valuing love with material things. Vanraj insists he’ll do anything for his daughter and asks Baa to coordinate with his secretary to arrange a party. He then apologizes to Baa, who urges him to go to the office. As Vanraj leaves, Baa reflects that when a house becomes so silent that even the ticking of the clock is loud, it signifies that love and relationships have faded away.
Meanwhile, Anupama sets aside money for Indra’s treatment, coffee, and Sagar’s books. Finding herself short on funds, she worries about managing expenses. Sagar throws a ball at her, playfully telling her not to nag. Anupama asks him to leave.
Later, Babu Ji stands on the balcony, gazing at Leela. Shetty asks why he separated from her if he loves her so much. Babu Ji explains that Leela chose her son, while he chose his daughter, and neither of them is wrong. He then asks Shetty about his love story, but Shetty admits he’s scared.
Babu Ji encourages him not to fear slaps and laughs. Baa comes to the balcony, and Babu Ji throws a flower towards her. As Baa reaches for it, Anupama arrives, greets Baa respectfully, but Baa ignores her. Anupama questions Babu Ji about living with her, and he explains his principles.
Anupama reminisces about when Asha Behen started the ashram, never imagining they would become a family. Sagar pretends to cry about his wet shirt, joking about the troubles of senior citizens. He brings medicine, expressing his fear of administering it. Anupama teases that they should marry him to a doctor. Sagar then asks Bala Shetty to shave his hair, to which Bala responds playfully.
Babu Ji informs Anupama that Nandita is coming with her daughter for the naming ceremony. Anupama agrees and mentions she will visit the temple. Babu Ji notes that Indra Behen has declared today an auspicious day. Anupama acknowledges that some things cannot change.
At the temple, Anuj plays the flute. The Pandit remarks that he is like a flower separated from its fragrance and prays for his reunion with his love. Anupama arrives with Indra, while dancers perform around them.
