The episode starts with Anuj telling Anupama that he will talk to Aadhya and make her understand. Anupama insists that Aadhya’s happiness lies with Shruti. Anuj persists, urging Anupama to reveal who threatened her.
Anupama denies anyone threatened her and insists Anuj return to America to start afresh. She expresses that they must remain apart, asserting they are not meant for each other, citing their 26-year separation as proof. Anupama resolves that if they accidentally meet, they must ignore each other and move on.
Anuj tearfully pleads with Anupama not to make this decision, questioning who influenced her—Vanraj, Aadhya, or Shruti. Anupama firmly states no one influenced her decision and implores Anuj to let her go. An emotional Anuj declares he cannot live without her and refuses to accept her decision.
He recalls the suffocation he felt in the five years they were apart and vows to stay far away from her, never to return or contact her again, even pledging to turn away if they cross paths accidentally. He swears his eternal love for her and leaves, devastated.
Anupama, overwhelmed with emotion, reflects on the sacrifices parents make for their children and breaks down in tears. Meanwhile, Aadhya wonders where her father has gone and messages Anupama. Anupama sends her a picture, confirming she has kept Anuj away. Aadhya, troubled by thoughts of her father, contemplates his absence.
Toshu and Pakhi pressured Vanraj to obtain Anupama’s signature through deceit. Pakhi demanded a penthouse, threatening that Toshu would return to America if they didn’t get it. An indifferent Vanraj retorted, questioning if they ever cared about his well-being and firmly refused to grant them even a parking spot before walking away.
Kavya appeared, proposing that if Vanraj granted the penthouse, she would request him to keep his share in it. Meanwhile, Aadhya approached Anupama at a temple, wiping away her tears and revealing she had come after seeing a photo of the temple they once visited together.
Anupama advised Aadhya to prioritize Anuj’s happiness and warned against emotional manipulation, asserting her role as a mother who would intervene if Aadhya crossed boundaries. Aadhya assured her she would take care of Anuj and thanked her.
Anupama tied a thread around her wrist and asked Aadhya if she could meet her. Aadhya promised they would meet at Shruti and Anuj’s wedding. Anupama reflected on her pain and questioned why she continued to live. Overwhelmed, she fainted in the temple.
Meanwhile, Anuj and Aadhya departed for the airport. Anupama regained consciousness to find Bhavesh beside her, explaining how he learned of her fainting incident.
Despite feeling cared for, Anupama fled, eventually boarding an auto. Anuj, on his way, kept seeing visions of Anupama everywhere.
Anupama, determined, reached the airport and glimpsed Anuj’s car before the auto broke down. Heartbroken, she watched as his plane departed, tears streaming down her face.
