Toshu enters the hall and is surprised to see Anupama. He sarcastically asks if she’s come back so soon, wondering if she missed her dear son and hurried here. Anupama calmly replies that she’s come to give him something and takes out an item from her handbag. Toshu, expecting a blank cheque, tells her to keep it that way.
Anupama then presents him with a detailed list of expenses she incurred on him until his marriage. She explains that there are two lists: one provided by him and the other by her mother. Anupama points out that children keep their mothers at home for their own needs and still show favor. She reveals that her list includes calculations for 9100 days multiplied by 3 meals per day, plus occasional extras. Anupama challenges him to consider the cost of 5 meals per day instead.
She continues, reminding him of the times she nursed him back to health, made special food for him, and stayed up with him at night. Anupama mentions the sacrifices she made, like selling her jewelry to buy his engagement ring, and the countless hours she spent caring for him, fighting for him, and supporting his education. She asks him to calculate the total cost of all these efforts.
Anupama then mentions the immeasurable value of her motherly love, which cannot be quantified in monetary terms. She explains that even Lord Krishna couldn’t repay his mother’s love, so it’s unreasonable to expect repayment from him or his father.
Toshu, feeling overwhelmed, wipes his sweat as Anupama concludes by saying she won’t give him any money but can offer him a job if he needs it. She asserts that while people may dream with a narrow perspective, they can never truly fulfill those dreams. Anupama bids him goodnight and leaves, leaving Toshu to reflect on her words.
She enters the house and finds Aadhya dancing in her room, filling her with joy. However, Aadhya misses a step and becomes disheartened. Anupama ponders how to assist her and comes up with a plan. She goes to her room, turns on the music, and Aadhya, recognizing the tune, resumes dancing. Anupama joins in, dancing in her own room. Meanwhile, Shruti hears the music and is intrigued. Anuj witnesses Aadhya’s dance and prays for their reunion.
Baa inquires with Dimpy about the money Anupama has brought. Dimpy suggests that Anupama could buy a restaurant there. Baa suggests that Anupama could buy a house and rent it out. Dimpy predicts that Anupama and Anuj will return to India for her wedding. While Anuj accidentally bumps into Yashdeep, causing him to drop his bags, they both help pick them up.
Anuj greets them, and Yashdeep reveals they are leaving for India next week. Anuj reminds him that his offer still stands, but Yashdeep insists on leaving. However, he agrees to meet Anupama before departing, as he cannot leave without seeing her. As they start to leave, Beeji encourages Yashdeep to confess his feelings to Anupama, unaware that Anuj is listening in.
He arrived home and handed Anupama the ingredients for laddoos that she had requested for Aadhya, along with a saree as a gift. Anupama graciously thanked him, then asked for his help with a mail from Hitachi Wang.
Anuj feigned shock upon reading it, then revealed that Hitachi Wang was opening a new restaurant and offering her the position of head chef. Overjoyed, Anupama expressed her gratitude. Anuj suggested she try the laddoos she was preparing for Aadhya. Anupama, while honored by the job offer, expressed a desire to do something else as well.
Later, at Yashdeep’s house, Anupama presented sweets to Beeji and Yashdeep, then offered him a cheque. Initially refusing, Yashdeep eventually accepted, agreeing to restart their restaurant with the money. Anupama explained that the restaurant was more than just a business to her; it was a place of worship and a home where she could reunite her family.
After much persuasion, Yashdeep agreed to accept the money, but on the condition that their relationship would change, making her the co-owner of Spice and Chutney. Anupama was taken aback by this unexpected turn of events.
