Aditya informs the group that Mahesh must stay until his test determines his innocence. Shanti asks Kashvi about Aditya’s earlier conversation. Mahesh asks Shanti to take care and assures her of his return. Aditya approaches Arjun, apologizing for doubting Kashvi and him.
He reveals that the truth has surfaced: Mahesh is accused of the terrible act against Isha. Arjun questions if Mahesh is truly responsible. Aditya explains that a sherwani and a perfume bottle were discovered at Mahesh’s house, and they are awaiting the DNA report, due in the morning. Aditya admits he initially suspected Kashvi, thinking her actions were driven by lingering affection for him, but now sees her unwavering commitment to the truth.
Shanti reassures Kashvi of Mahesh’s innocence, emphasizing their long-standing bond and Mahesh’s love for her. Kashvi counters, suggesting Mahesh may have a hidden side, citing his alleged tendency to engage in inappropriate relations with women. Dismissing Kashvi’s claims, Shanti insists that Mahesh only has eyes for her and would never betray her trust. Kashvi argues that people can have dual personalities, citing evidence like the discovered sherwani and perfume bottle.
Shanti accuses Kashvi of framing Mahesh to release her ex-husband from custody. Kashvi defends herself, stating she’s merely dedicated to her duty and striving to vindicate an innocent man. Undeterred, Shanti challenges Kashvi to swear on God that she harbors no romantic feelings, asserting her determination to clear Mahesh’s name at any cost.
Shanti confronts Mahesh, who insists on his innocence, claiming he’s been ensnared in a trap. He expresses confidence that the DNA report, due the next day, will prove his innocence. Shanti questions why Kashvi would frame him. Mahesh, however, believes it’s not Kashvi but Aditya and Vandana who are behind the plot. Before he can elaborate, a constable arrives and escorts Mahesh away.
Dr. Mathur deceives Kashvi and the others by falsely claiming that Mahesh’s hair sample matches Isha’s nail sample. Kashvi confidently states that Arjun will be released that day. Aditya, feeling vindicated, asserts that this proves he didn’t frame Arjun.
He requests the inspector to release Vandana, as she is now a crucial witness. Aditya then accuses Kashvi of damaging their relationship and guilt-trips her.
The inspector informs Mahesh that the DNA has matched, speaking to him harshly. Mahesh maintains his innocence, but the inspector remains skeptical. Feeling trapped, Mahesh requests to use the bathroom.Kashvi approaches Arjun and requests the inspector to unlock his handcuffs.
The inspector, acknowledging Kashvi’s steadfast belief in Arjun’s innocence, allows her to release him. Arjun, grateful, embraces her tightly. Jokingly, Kashvi asks if he intends to suffocate her to death with his embrace.
Arjun releases her, apologizing for his past actions and affirming their friendship and partnership. He expresses regret for betraying her and asks for a chance to rebuild their relationship, but Kashvi, though appreciative, declines, suggesting instead that they celebrate his freedom.
Jagdish arrives and embraces Arjun warmly. Meanwhile, Shanti arrives at the police station, where the inspector advises her to move on from her husband. Their conversation is interrupted by a constable’s urgent call for the inspector. They rush to Mahesh’s location and find him dead, having taken his own life. Shanti is left in shock at the tragic turn of events.
