Jahnvi taunts Deepika, calling her venomous and not a loser like her. Agarwal warns Jahnvi to respect her elder sister. Jahnvi retorts that she loves her luxurious, colorful life, while Deepika’s life is dark like her complexion. Agarwal shouts her name in anger, but Shobha intervenes, warning him not to raise his voice at their daughter. She curses both Agarwal and Deepika as usual.
At the Mittal house, Neelima serves beetroot juice shots during breakfast. Chirag mentions that it’s winter and they need beetroot juice to boost their immunity. Omkar asks where Ashutosh is. Lavanya explains that she sent Ashutosh to Jahnvi’s house with a marriage proposal from Prithvi.
Ashutosh arrives at Jahnvi’s house and asks if he’s in the right place. Shobha confirms and asks who he is. He introduces himself as Lavanya’s brother-in-law and expresses his desire to meet Jahnvi’s parents. Shobha welcomes him in. He enters with a family priest and many gifts, which make Shobha’s eyes sparkle with greed. Ashutosh conveys Lavanya’s wish to make Jahnvi her daughter-in-law.
Agarwal, moved by the proposal, seeks Shobha’s opinion. Shobha responds that her husband’s wish is her wish. Ashutosh suggests they meet the groom if they are available. Shobha eagerly agrees and asks him to call the groom today itself. Ashutosh steps aside to call Lavanya. Deepika prays that Jahnvi will accept this alliance, believing it to be a blessing.
Lavanya receives Ashutosh’s call and initially pretends to be sad, then announces with a smile that Jahnvi’s family has agreed to the marriage. Prithvi jumps with joy. Lavanya tells the family that they want to meet Prithvi and his family today and asks Chirag to accompany him.
Chirag hesitates, saying he can’t skip his hospital duties today. Omkar comments that Chirag knows his mother would never visit a poor household. Lavanya adds that she doesn’t want to step into a poor locality and will visit Jahnvi’s family after they move into a gifted bungalow. Chirag reluctantly agrees to accompany Prithvi.
Shobha waits eagerly for Ashutosh to return. Agarwal asks Shobha to bring tea and snacks for Ashutosh and the priest. Deepika steps out and assures Shobha that she will serve everything. The priest looks at Deepika and asks who she is. Agarwal explains that she is Jahnvi’s elder sister.
The priest warns them to keep Deepika away from Lavanya, who despises anything or anyone dark-skinned, to avoid jeopardizing Jahnvi’s alliance. Deepika feels deeply hurt and decides to leave the house to avoid any problems. She heads to a mechanic shop to get her scooter brakes fixed.
Chirag drives towards Jahnvi’s house with Prithvi. Enjoying flute music, he stops at the mechanic shop to get air for his tires. The mechanic asks him to wait until he finishes fixing Deepika’s scooter brakes. Deepika comforts a crying child nearby, making a swing out of her dupatta to cheer the child up. Chirag is mesmerized by her act. As the dupatta tears, a piece flies in front of Chirag, who picks it up, still entranced.
