Pallo sternly warns Imlie against interfering with Bulbul’s alliance, while Bulbul defends Imlie, urging Pallo to stop accusing her. Titu also intervenes, advising Imlie to move on with Surya and lead a happy life. Pallo then coldly tells Imlie to never return and cause trouble again. In response, Imlie assures Bulbul of her good wishes for her future with her fiancé, expressing her approval. She then leaves with Surya.
Back home, Indira narrates the entire incident to CJ, attempting to turn him against Imlie. However, when Surya returns with Imlie, Indira reveals to CJ that Imlie is actually their daughter-in-law. CJ accepts Imlie and asks Hemalatha to perform a ritual to welcome her. Indira objects, but CJ insists that everyone should calm down, as too much stress is harmful. Surya expresses his joy at being home, and CJ compliments Imlie’s beauty.
Later, Indira insists that now that CJ has accepted Imlie, she should withdraw her complaint against Surya. However, Imlie refuses, stating that while Surya didn’t directly cause Agastya’s death, his irresponsible actions led to it. She wants to show that such mistakes have consequences. Indira becomes furious and scolds Imlie, but CJ intervenes, reminding everyone to relax.
During dinner, CJ mentions missing home-cooked sambar and asks about Surya’s whereabouts. Nirmala informs him that Surya took a bullet for his wife, despite her filing a complaint against him. CJ sends Arjun to bring Surya and Imlie.
