Bhagyashree gives a negative review about the Bhosales to the adoption center employees. The employees discuss that it’s good they spoke to the Bhosales’ neighbor; when their neighbor is so upset with them, how can they trust the responsibility of an orphan child with them? Rajat overhears their conversation and tells them that his mother doesn’t get along well with the Bhosales, so she badmouthed them; Savi is a good girl, and children get along well with her. She is his daughter’s teacher, and all the students like her. The employees decide to visit the Bhosales to check their home environment. Bhagyashree feels disappointed that her son spoke against her and supported the Bhosales. Rajat, tired after a long day, goes to his room. Bhagyashree is surprised that Rajat praised a girl.
The adoption center employees meet Isha and Shantanu, who express their surprise about Savi filing for adoption. Shantanu says they need to discuss it with their daughter first and will call them again. The employees leave, asking them to reply soon as they can’t hold the file for long. Isha tells Shantanu he should have denied them, though she is not against adoption. Shantanu says they should first speak to Savi and explain their concerns. Isha agrees to talk to Savi, explaining that if a child enters Savi’s life, the hope of a life partner for Savi might end. She believes someone will enter Savi’s life who will love and accept her as she is, bringing her true happiness.
Bhagyashree packs her and Raju’s bags to visit Pune with Lucky. Lucky says they can check his results online. Raju agrees, doubting he will top his MBA exam. Bhagyashree insists they are going to Pune to let Rajat spend some time with Sai. When Rajat asks if they are going somewhere, Bhagyashree says they are going to Pune to check Lucky’s results and visit the Ganapati temple.
Rajat asks if the maid will take care of Sai. Bhagyashree says she gave the maid leave. Rajat asks her to take Sai along as he can’t handle her alone. Bhagyashree tells him to manage and leaves with Raju and Lucky.
Isha confronts Savi for filing for adoption without informing her and Shantanu. Savi says she was about to tell them. Isha says Savi can’t make this decision alone and believes someone will truly love Savi for who she is. Savi insists that since she can’t conceive, she wants to adopt a baby to bring happiness and completeness to her life. Isha asks why Savi doesn’t understand her concern. Savi walks away, and Shantanu stops Mrinmoy from following her, saying Savi needs time alone.
Rajat feeds dinner to Sai. Aman calls, saying the USA clients are waiting for a meeting. Rajat says he’s feeding Sai and can’t come, so Aman should handle the meeting. Aman thinks Rajat is slowly reforming. After dinner, Sai insists on having a coconut cookie.
Rajat says he doesn’t know where to find one at this time. Sai says her grandmother hides them in the kitchen. Rajat searches and finds the cookie. Sai says she eats a cookie whenever she feels happy. Rajat smiles, finding her cute, and while cleaning her face, he notices her lip mole, reminding him of his wife, Asha, and her similar mole.
Savi recalls receiving a call from the adoption center employee and Isha’s reaction. Mrinmoy walks over and asks if she is alright. Savi wonders why Isha doesn’t understand her point. Mrinmoy advises giving Isha some time, just as she accepted Chocolate the puppy. Savi hopes so.
The adoption center employee calls back, informing her that her application has moved forward thanks to a positive review from her neighbor Rajat Thakkar. Savi feels happy, and Mrinmoy goes to get sweets to celebrate. Savi is surprised that Mr. Stone Heart praised her and decides she needs to thank him.
Meanwhile, Rajat and Sai are irritated by mosquitoes and try to clap them away. Savi comes out with Chocolate, telling him she’s taking him to meet his mom and grandpa. She notices Rajat and Sai’s struggle, grabs a mosquito bat, and, pretending to speak to Mrinmoy, mentions that closing windows and doors in the evening can prevent mosquitoes, and using a mosquito bat or net is effective.
She leaves the bat outside and silently returns home. Rajat picks up the bat and kills the mosquitoes. He then takes Sai to her room to help her sleep. Sai kisses and hugs him, calling him the best for killing the mosquitoes. He says they both did it together.
Once Sai is asleep, Rajat goes out to return the mosquito bat to Savi and overhears Isha talking to Latha, saying she visited Rajat’s office and discovered he’s a CEO of a big company and is very wealthy. Isha hopes for an alliance between Savi and Rajat.
Rajat recalls a peon informing him about his future MIL visiting and returns home fuming. He angrily breaks the mosquito bat, thinking about Savi’s fake concern for Sai and concluding that Savi and her mother are gold diggers, using Sai to get to him. He believes Savi is the cheapest woman he’s ever met.
The next morning, Savi sees the maid throwing the broken mosquito racket in the dustbin and greets Rajat. Rajat recalls Isha’s conversation and ignores her. Savi thinks he’s so rude and arrogant, breaking her bat after she helped him. She realizes she was foolish to think such a mannerless man would change.
