Shruti apologizes to Anupama, saying, “I’m not a bad person, but I did wrong by you, and I’m sorry.” Anupama responds, “Please don’t apologize; I’m sorry too.” Shruti continues, “I have freed AK from all promises and guilt, not to seem noble, but because it’s the right thing to do. No one can bear the burden of a relationship for long. We were together because of Aadhya; the love was one-sided. After my parents died, I was lonely and acted out of insecurity. AK shouldn’t have talked about marriage, and although we got engaged, love never happened.”
Anupama admits, “I made a mistake by coming to America. If I hadn’t, you two might have married by now.” Shruti suggests that Anupama and Anuj should remarry, saying, “Your Anuj can’t marry anyone else because he loves only you. True love is rare; don’t lose him.” Anupama apologizes again, but Shruti insists, “No, Joshi Behen, you always had everyone’s best interests at heart. When I was unwell, you took care of Aadhya and me, made food, and endured Aadhya’s anger.” Anupama expresses regret for any hurt she caused.
Devika observes, “You both have handled this maturely. Shruti apologized, and Anupama forgave her.” Shruti extends a hand, saying, “We can be either enemies or friends. I want to be your friend.” Anupama smiles and shakes her hand. Shruti hands her a God idol and says, “Anuj and Aadhya are yours now. Marry him. I’ll make Aadhya understand. Now I can leave in peace.” Anupama asks, “Alone?” Shruti reassures her, “You, Anuj, and Aadhya will be in the US. I’ll visit if I crave your cooking.” She departs.
Anuj finds a letter from Shruti and gets emotional. He thanks her for understanding. Aadhya hugs him, and he says, “You might not understand now, but this is right. After Dimpy and Titu’s wedding, we’ll talk. It’s been a long, stressful day. Go rest.” Anuj reflects on their future together, thinking that tomorrow he, Anu, and Aadhya will start their new journey. Anupama feels anxious about Dimpy and Tapish’s wedding.
The next day, Kavya calls the kids. Baa arrives and asks if the aarti plate is ready. Kavya confirms it is, and Baa praises her, saying she’ll have to handle everything after her. Kavya reassures her, not wanting to be upset. She hopes Vanraj’s plan to stop the wedding fails.
Vanraj, however, thinks, “Finally, the wedding day, the day of disaster, has come.” The kids greet Baa, Babu ji, and Pakhi. Kavya compliments Kinjal on her makeup and lehenga. Vanraj comments, “Anupama will come home now that Shruti is gone. The wedding will be interesting.”
Anuj and Aadhya arrive at the wedding. Anupama arrives by auto and sees Aadhya wearing the lehenga she stitched, getting emotional. Anuj looks at her, recalling his love confession. As Anupama walks, her pallu gets caught on Anuj’s watch. He follows her, trying to free it, and finally does as they enter. Babu ji, Baa, and others notice them. Vanraj asks about Shruti. Anuj says Shruti has returned.
Vanraj jokes about Shruti leaving while people come to Gujarat for dhokla. Anuj tells him to mind his own business. Anupama asks Vanraj not to ruin the mood. Babu ji asks Toshu to call Tapish and wonders why he hasn’t arrived yet.
Dimpy gets ready and takes a picture, thinking of sending it to Titu but decides to keep it a surprise. Ansh enters, complimenting her beauty. She thanks him for sharing in her happiness. He asks if she’ll love him less. She assures him she’ll love him twice as much since Titu will also love him. Ansh, happy, takes off the bad sight from her. Dimpy wonders why Titu hasn’t arrived.
Toshu says he’s called Titu many times, but there’s no answer. Vanraj suggests he might have fled and taunts him. Anuj questions Vanraj’s behavior. Anupama defends Titu, saying he waited for Dimpy for five years and won’t run away.
Vanraj brings up Anuj’s breakup with Shruti. Titu finally arrives, explaining he was late because his pajama was too tight and needed altering. Baa tells him to go out for the aarti. Anupama playfully pulls his nose. Vanraj warns that everyone will joke with him, but he’ll make the biggest joke
Kavya also pulls Titu’s nose, and even the kids want to join, but Titu protests that his nose will turn red. Anupama explains the nose-pulling ritual. Ansh says he’ll also do his papa’s aarti, and Anupama encourages him.
