The episode begins with Ruhi asking Surekha why she looks worried and distracted. Surekha confesses that she saw Abhira return to the Poddar house. She asks Ruhi if she’s alright. Ruhi, focusing on her game, declares, “Check and mate, I win.” Surekha presses her for a reaction, but Ruhi remains composed, saying it’s good for everyone if Abhira has returned. She then retreats to her room, where she breaks down and cries as “Sajda Tera” plays. Overwhelmed, she experiences a panic attack and calls her doctor, who advises her to breathe deeply and stay calm.
The next morning, Abhira practices yoga and notices Dadi nearby. Dadi sends her a video of Armaan and Ruhi, sparking an argument. Dadi warns Abhira that although she may have returned, she will never be accepted as part of the family. Abhira tries to defend herself, but Dadi leaves, resolute.
Ruhi meets with her doctor and confesses that despite everything, she can’t forget Armaan. The doctor explains that her heart is still emotionally attached and holding onto hope for a reunion. She must confront her feelings, endure the loneliness and fear, and ultimately move on.
In the kitchen, Vidya is cooking when Armaan arrives, commenting on her making his father’s favorite paratha. Vidya clarifies it’s for Aryan. Suddenly, they smell something burning and rush outside to find Madhav cooking. Abhira shows Madhav the burnt toast, and Armaan jokes about the daily burnt food smell he used to notice from their house, advising against its health risks.
Meanwhile, Suwarna serves tea to Manish, who asks about Ruhi. Surekha mentions that Ruhi went to her room early. Sushant arrives with his men, demanding a talk. He reveals that Manish had mortgaged the house for Ruhi’s marriage expenses. Despite Manish’s promise to repay the loan, Sushant insists on vacating the house immediately. Suwarna and Surekha offer to sell their jewelry to settle the debt, but Sushant remains unmoved, demanding they vacate the house.
Back at the house, Madhav blesses Abhira while Vidya brings food. Armaan and Abhira work together to bring Madhav and Vidya closer. Vidya scolds Madhav for attempting to eat the burnt toast and feeds him paratha instead, much to Armaan and Abhira’s delight. Armaan silently reflects on his past mistakes and the love he failed to recognize.
Sushant’s men start removing furniture from the house. When one of them breaks a picture of Akshu, Manish and the family are heartbroken. Ruhi arrives, shouting for them to stop. Abhira answers Madhav’s call, mentioning her father is busy eating. Vidya chimes in, telling Madhav to make sure his daughter eats properly too. Dadi observes, speculating if Vidya is softening towards Abhira. Armaan jokes about his unchanged expression and his mission to feed Abhira curd and sugar. Abhira accepts Vidya’s blessings as Madhav and Armaan exchange nods of understanding.
Abhira, holding back tears, begins eating the parathas. Vidya notes Abhira’s reluctance to forgive Armaan, while Madhav advises Armaan on the true nature of love—dedication and understanding. He encourages Armaan to show Abhira genuine love, meet her expectations, and adjust to her needs. Armaan reflects on these words, pondering his next steps to win Abhira’s heart.
