The episode starts with Vidya placing her hand over a diya, tears streaming down her face. Armaan notices and turns around. Dadi exclaims, “Madhav…” and everyone smiles at his arrival. Vidya scolds Armaan playfully, “You were joking, I will pull your ears,” and hugs him.
Armaan thinks to himself, “Sorry, Abhira, you fell alone again.” Dadi says, “A son has to come back home.” Madhav steps forward and introduces Abhira, “I have returned home with my daughter.” Armaan rushes to hug Abhira, exclaiming, “You have come and brought Dad along, thank you so much.
I won’t let you go away. I will win your trust.” Abhira responds, “I thought to give our relationship another chance.” Krish starts playing the dhol as Armaan lifts Abhira and dances. Suddenly, Armaan’s dream ends.
Madhav requests Dadi to welcome him and Abhira. Dadi, looking uncertain, remarks, “This girl….” Armaan takes the aarti plate and approaches Abhira, but he slips on the stairs, causing sindoor to fall into her maang.
Abhira angrily pushes him away and wipes off the sindoor. Manisha comments, “It’s the color of true love; it won’t come off.” Armaan pleads, “Abhira, stop it, you’ll hurt yourself.” Dadi intervenes, “Abhira and Armaan are separated. She has no relation with us. Why did you bring her here?”
Madhav sees Sanjay and Kajal and responds, “Abhira brought me here. I returned because of her. Thank her and welcome her home.” Dadi firmly states, “Never.” Abhira interjects, “I don’t want to come home. I came here just for my Papa. I’ve decided to stay in the outhouse.” Dadi declares, “I make the decisions here.” Madhav, frustrated, says, “I didn’t want to come back.
We were happy and peaceful there.” Vidya pleads, “No, don’t go.” She turns to Dadi, begging, “Stop him for my sake,” and begins to cry. Madhav coldly says, “Let it be. She only thinks of herself and the family’s reputation. Leave my hand.” Vidya insists, “No.”
Finally, Dadi relents, “Stop. Vidya is my daughter. I will tolerate Abhira for her sake, but she will stay in the outhouse.” She throws the keys at Abhira, but Armaan catches them.
He says, “You’re welcome, Abhira. I brought your son home; you were about to make another mistake, and I saved you.” Dadi responds, “Humans make mistakes. I am the matriarch of this household. Just as the sky showers favors, I am extending a favor to this girl.”
Madhav expresses gratitude, “Thank you for your kindness. I will stay with Abhira in the outhouse. I can’t leave her alone.” Vidya questions, “Are you willing to break apart our family and our marriage for Abhira?” Madhav counters, “I could ask you the same. Is Maasa everything to you? If you want to support me, come with me. You’ve always strived to be Maasa’s ideal daughter-in-law. The day you muster the courage to be my wife, let me know.”
Armaan silently reflects, “It’s good Abhira will stay here. I hope her heart turns towards me.” Dadi watches the exchange as Madhav and Abhira head to the outhouse. Madhav suggests, “We can leave if you say so.
” Abhira admonishes, “Will we break Vidya’s heart again? Stop repeating your mistakes. I came here because of you. Focus on your marriage.” Madhav reveals, “Maasa scolded us at the door.” Abhira resolves, “I will establish my career soon.” Madhav reminisces, “We were happy in our small house. We’ve started quarreling here too.
” Abhira pleads, “Don’t argue. Cook something for me; I’m hungry.” He declines, “It’s your turn.” She insists, “Okay, I’ll make noodles, and you have to eat them.” He relents, “Noodles sound good.” Abhira thinks of Akshu and Madhav remarks, “You miss your mom.” She hugs him, “She’d want you to become like her. Go change, I’ll make noodles.” He leaves, and she resolves, “I’ll leave this house once Madhav and Vidya resolve their issues.”
Meanwhile, Manisha, Manoj, and the kids dance, thanking Charu for contacting Abhira. They discuss Armaan and Abhira. Madhav tells Abhira, “I’m leaving; message me if you need anything important.” She nods. Madhav spots Vidya at the door and exits. Armaan peers out the window, spots Abhira, and smiles, as “Tum ho…” plays. Abhira notices him and closes her window.
Armaan comments, “Mosquitoes due to the rains; I’ll get a coil and a bat.” He knocks, calling, “Abhira,” but coughs from the smoke. He turns, and Abhira accidentally falls into his arms, holding a lantern. He gently removes her dupatta from her face. She pushes away, “I just came to give this. Relax, I’m leaving.” He exits, and she closes the door, tearfully thinking of him and Ruhi.
