The episode begins with Tanuja instructing, “Before you eat, we must perform some rituals.” Anirudh, impatient, jokes, “I’m famished!” Arshi teasingly advises, “Control your habits.” Anirudh persists, “I’m really hungry, you must be too.” Anjana suggests they perform Shanknaath before everyone gives their blessings. Anjana plays the Shank, blessing Anirudh and Arshi. Bipasha advises, “Keep Arshi always in your sight; your happiness lies in your marriage.” Anirudh nods in agreement, and they all smile.
Meanwhile, Mrinalini and Choton engage in a playful argument, much to her father’s amusement. Choton suggests they go inside and meet everyone. Mrinalini’s father asks Choton to accompany them, but Choton hesitates, murmuring about his saintly lifestyle. Mrinalini teases him, “You claim to live like a saint, but you’ve managed to father six kids!” Choton defends himself, “I lead a life of devotion; I don’t lie.” Mrinalini retorts, “You lied about being poor and disowned by your parents.” Her father, surprised, interjects, “No one told me this! We’re here to discuss your alliance.” They are taken aback.
Dadi then invites Tanuja and Shrishti to bless Anirudh and Arshi. They shower blessings and praise the couple. Meanwhile, Jhanak overhears gossip about Anirudh and Arshi’s relationship, which saddens her. Vinayak advises caution in expressing happiness publicly. Shrishti disagrees, believing openness heals rifts in relationships. As they continue to bless the couple, Jhanak is hurt by the insensitive remarks made by other women.
Elsewhere, Mrinalini and her father discuss Choton’s suitability as a match. She protests against marrying him due to his habitual lying. Choton, still playing along, defends his actions comically. Her father, amused by Choton’s antics, tries to mediate.
Back at the celebration, Shrishti formally hands Arshi over to Anirudh, declaring, “From now on, she’s your responsibility. Take care of her; she’s your Laxmi.” Anirudh promises to cherish Arshi forever. Jhanak quietly leaves the gathering. Arshi apologizes for needing to leave early for another ritual and to meet friends. Dadi encourages her to eat heartily before she goes. Anirudh and Arshi enjoy their meal, surrounded by smiling faces as Lal captures their moments.
Meanwhile, Mrinalini confides in her father, expressing doubts about Choton. Her father shares her concerns but seems to have a hidden agenda. Choton, meanwhile, resolves never to marry Mrinalini, as he continues to playfully evade any serious commitment.
Dadu warmly welcomes his friend Baren with a hug, blessing Mrinalini as they arrive. Bablu greets Baren and jokingly chides him for not coming earlier. Meanwhile, Dadi inquires about Choton and asks Mrinalini if her mother will be joining. Mrinalini explains her mother’s absence due to knee pain, mentioning Choton’s arrangement for their guests. She assures Dadi that her mother will join later.
Shubh extends his greetings to Baren and invites them to join the ongoing marriage function. Baren fondly recalls their past, expressing his delight at reuniting. Bablu calls Anjana to greet Baren, reminiscing about their families’ close bond. Tanuja arrives and greets everyone.
Dadu suggests having a private conversation with Baren, who agrees. Dadi suggests they sit and talk, wondering about Choton’s whereabouts. Lal assures Dadi that he will find Choton. Shubh introduces Arshi and others, while Bipasha warmly greets Baren and Meenakshi.
Dadu requests Lal to take a picture of the group. Appu arrives and engages in conversation with Meenakshi, which makes Anirudh smile. Appu teases Anirudh about having a secret, prompting him to ask what it is. Just then, Choton arrives, informing them about the arrangements with the decorator and food preparation. He plans to finish his tasks and join them later.
Dadi interrupts him, urging him to stay. Appu then blurts out that everyone has been talking about Choton and Mrinalini’s marriage. Choton is taken aback and tries to hush Appu, but she continues playfully. Anjana advises Appu to respect elders and stop talking. Appu, undeterred, assures Mrinalini not to be embarrassed.
Anjana tries to quiet Appu, but she innocently insists that everyone was discussing the marriage. Choton, feeling awkward, leaves abruptly. Appu remarks that he got shy, while Dadi denies ever mentioning marriage. Anirudh intervenes, praising Choton and affirming his surprise at the development. Lal teases that Choton has run away, but Anirudh suggests he might just be feeling bashful.
Jhanak overhears their conversation, observing their happiness and wondering why Choton had claimed he couldn’t live without her.
