The episode begins with Abhira suggesting they move to a new place. Madhav firmly declines, saying he finds peace in this house and considers it the best for him. Abhira concedes but insists on getting new furniture, arguing it’s not their responsibility to keep a stranger’s old things. Madhav counters, saying Shivani isn’t a stranger but Armaan’s real mother, which makes Abhira recall the old lady’s words. Meanwhile, Dadi performs the aarti.
Vidya remembers Madhav’s words as Dadi applies sindoor to Kajal and Manisha, then moves towards Vidya. Vidya stops her, stating she doesn’t want the symbol of marriage, but her actual husband. Everyone looks on as Krish and others take the guests to try kachoris. Dadi laments that Madhav isn’t coming home, asking what she should do. Vidya, in tears, insists that only Dadi can bring him back. Dadi promises to discuss it after the guests leave, and Vidya vows that only Madhav will apply sindoor to her.
Abhira realizes that they are in Armaan’s mother’s house, and that Armaan is unaware of this fact. Madhav explains that Armaan might feel guilty about coming here, thinking he’s betraying Vidya, and he feels the same. Abhira advises Madhav to show Vidya that she is the most important person in his life and not just a second woman. She also reflects on her involvement in their issues, staying in Armaan’s mother’s house, and trying to mend Madhav and Vidya’s relationship.
Manoj expresses his worry that their family is falling apart and asks Dadi to do something. Dadi blames Abhira and refuses to bring Madhav back, insisting Abhira is responsible.
Armaan intervenes, accusing Dadi of failing to resolve his parents’ conflicts in the past and now. He declares he will ensure Vidya’s love succeeds and goes to get his father, taking the sindoor with him.
Ruhi showcases a decorated swing, surprising Manish, who had forgotten about the tradition of putting up a Sawan swing on this day. The family praises Ruhi’s effort. Ruhi insists they get ready and adds that although they once lost their happiness with the arrival of others, they won’t let that happen again. She encourages them to enjoy the moment together.
Madhav sees the drawing as Armaan arrives, calling out, “Papa.” Madhav quickly puts the drawing away. Armaan says, “I’ve come to take you home.” Abhira watches on as Madhav and Armaan argue. Armaan exclaims, “Abhira tried to save your relationship.
I’m tired of taking the blame for your problems. You need to take responsibility for your relationship. I just want to see my parents happy.” Madhav thinks, *If I go home, Abhira will leave the city, and you both will never be happy.* He responds, “It’s not possible for me to return home.”
Armaan reminds him, “You promised Vidya. You applied sindoor to her. It’s time to keep that promise. Mom decided that she will get sindoor applied only by your hands. It’s your choice.” He turns and sees Abhira. Noticing the swing removed, he leaves.
Abhira starts packing a bag. Madhav asks, “What are you doing?” She replies, “I’m packing your stuff. You’re going back home. I don’t want any problems in your marriage. I’m grateful for your support, but I have no family, and you do.”
Madhav insists, “You are my family.” Abhira counters, “Vidya is your life partner. She loves you a lot and is waiting for you and your love. No one has patience and loyalty these days.” Madhav refuses, “I won’t go.” Abhira says firmly, “I’ll be blamed if anything happens. Just go home.” Madhav retorts, “No, because you can’t go back there. Armaan broke your trust, the family broke your heart. I won’t go there. You are my daughter. I will stay here.”
Meanwhile, Kajal consoles Vidya, who says, “Until Armaan brings Madhav back, I won’t leave this room.” Dadi looks on as Vidya continues, “I can’t face the guests without Madhav. I won’t go until he comes back home.” Manish applies sindoor to Suwarna, who does his aarti. Ruhi recalls Armaan. They make her sit on the swing. Ruhi remarks, “But this rasam is for married girls.” Manish asks, “Who said so?” They tease her, and Ruhi smiles.
Back with Madhav, he says, “We will have hot kachoris today. They got a bit burnt, but try them.” Abhira eats and coughs. He gives her water and pats her back. She says, “It’s perfect.” He eats and comments, “I thought you were sensible. Is this really perfect?” Abhira pleads, “Please go back home. My situation is better now.” Madhav responds, “Family is there to support you.
I made Rasmalai too.” He goes to get it. Abhira sees Vidya’s picture and recalls Dadi’s words. Charu calls Abhira, who sees Vidya on the video call. Vidya looks at Madhav’s picture and cries. Madhav sees Vidya on the call and leaves. Charu pleads, “Their relationship is breaking. Please send him back.”
The guests leave, tired of waiting. Armaan arrives home, and Vidya comes downstairs. Dadi asks, “Where is Madhav?” Armaan replies, “He refused to come.” Vidya cries. Manoj says, “He should have come home.” Kajal adds, “He forgot us because of Abhira.” Sanjay comments, “He didn’t do the right thing.”
