The episode begins with Anirudh stating that Jhanak has performed at her sister’s sangeet, and Shrishti is her Maasi. He expresses his disappointment, saying, “I hope you understand that you didn’t do this right.” The men apologize. Bipasha questions his reaction, to which Anirudh responds, “You can’t insult Jhanak. She is a dancer, performer, and artist. I’m sorry.
” Arshi defends, “No one insulted Jhanak. My mom didn’t ask them to do this.” Anirudh clarifies, “Jhanak is appearing like that. I really hope you understand what I mean. You aren’t so innocent. You could have raised a voice for her.” Arshi retorts, “What do you mean? It’s our sangeet. We should celebrate, not fight.
” Anirudh insists, “I will fight if needed.” Arshi counters, “Jhanak is a professional for me. I won’t protest for her. You are ruining everything.” Anirudh thinks, “I can’t tolerate Jhanak’s insult.” He concedes, “Fine, I won’t say anything.” Shrishti chimes in, “Yes, you insulted our guests.
Let’s see if they stay back or not.” Anirudh apologizes to the men, “It’s my sangeet. Please enjoy. Jhanak is very talented. You couldn’t recognize her in this getup. Her face was on every hoarding and banner some days back.” The men acknowledge, “We understand. We were told that you have called some professional for the performance.” They apologize upon learning that Jhanak is Shrishti’s niece.
One of the men appreciates Anirudh for respecting a girl’s talent. Tanuja questions, “What did Anirudh do? What was the need to tell everyone that Jhanak is Shrishti’s niece?” Anirudh signals Choton and Jhanak. Choton takes Jhanak with him.
Jhanak greets Mrinalini, asking, “How are you?” Mrinalini responds, “I’m fine. You felt bad, right?” Jhanak reassures, “No.” Mrinalini praises, “You are a good performer. You danced so well. You have won everyone’s hearts.
” Choton offers to get water for Jhanak. Bipasha clarifies, “We didn’t mean to insult anyone. Jhanak is a good dancer. We wanted to give her a chance to perform. Sorry for the misunderstanding. A special performance is still left.” Lal announces, “Anirudh will sing for us.” Everyone insists. Anirudh agrees. Shubh suggests, “Arshi should sing along with Anirudh.” Arshi declines, “Sorry, he will sing alone.
” Anirudh thinks, “I have to perform well, or I can’t keep Jhanak along.” Mrinalini asks, “Who is that man who just got you?” Jhanak replies, “He is Choton. Didn’t you meet him?” She calls Choton, saying, “Mrinalini was asking about you.” Choton replies, “I met her before.” Mrinalini acknowledges, “Jhanak gave your good introduction. You are Choton.” Anirudh dedicates the song to Arshi. Everyone claps. Arshi smiles. Anirudh sees Jhanak and sings “Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas.”
Jhanak wonders, “Why did you raise your voice for me? Who am I?” Arshi thinks, “Anirudh is singing for me, but he is seeing Jhanak.” Anirudh thinks, “I’m just singing for Jhanak.” He imagines dancing with Jhanak. Bipasha takes Arshi on stage. Anirudh dances with her. Everyone claps.
Bipasha says, “Stay there for a photo session.” Anirudh holds Arshi close and sees Jhanak. Arshi notices Jhanak staring at them. Anirudh thinks, “My soul is burning, yet I’m smiling and pretending to be happy.” Jhanak thinks, “Stay happy with Arshi.”
Arshi and Shrishti come home. Arshi talks to Pihu on the phone. Shrishti says, “Jhanak will always get insulted. I won’t leave her; I will teach her a lesson. She wants to compete with you. She is just like her mother, Urvashi, who wanted to surpass me. You know where I reached, and now Urvashi is no more.”
Vinayak stops Shrishti and asks, “What was all that? Your friends were giving tips to Jhanak.” Arshi says, “We didn’t do anything.” Shrishti argues. Vinayak asks, “Shall I tell everything in front of Arshi?” Shrishti says, “Yes, tell her, what price did Urvashi pay for her deeds.”
Vinayak says, “Urvashi didn’t do anything wrong; she was framed.” Shrishti asks, “Who were those people? I want to know today.” Vinayak says, “What happened wasn’t right; Jhanak faced injustice. This is an insult to every artist.” Shrishti says, “Jhanak is dirty mud; Arshi is a diamond. What does Jhanak have? What does she deserve?”
Vinayak says, “Sorry to say, but I’ve seen your true colors today.” He leaves. Shrishti says, “I will decide what happens with Jhanak. You will do as I say. I will not leave her. She wants to romance Anirudh? I will see what she does after I give her medicine.” Arshi worries.
In the morning, Lal shows the photos to Tanuja. Bipasha gets upset. Arshi says, “You can check this album.” Tanuja says, “These are beautiful pictures.” She asks Jhanak to make tea for them. Jhanak agrees. Bipasha asks her to make Kahwa. Tanuja says, “Yes, make it. I heard it brings a glow to the face. We need to look glamorous.” Jhanak leaves.
Rumi comes to see the photos. Bipasha mentions, “Jhanak’s pictures are also there.” Lal says, “Leave it.” Jhanak brings Kahwa. Bipasha asks her to sit and see the photos with them. Anjana brings snacks. Tanuja asks Anjana to sit and see the photos. Arshi says, “I like whatever Tanuja likes.”
Bipasha shows a picture of Anirudh and Arshi to Jhanak and says, “It’s good, right?” Jhanak thinks, “They look perfect together, made for each other.”
