Jhanak 19th June 2024 written Episode: Full Update only on Yo Desi Serials.
The episode starts with Arshi reminding Anirudh about their Sangeet and asking if he will be there tomorrow. Anirudh replies that he will be late. Arshi notices something off and mentions that it’s Jhanak’s marriage. Anirudh assures her that he is happy. Arshi says okay and ends the conversation.
Meanwhile, Choton arrives to meet Mrinalini. She confronts him, accusing him of lying and calling him a fraud. Shocked, he asks what she means. She reveals that she knows Amitabh Bose is his father, implying he forgot his own father’s name.
He denies understanding what she is talking about and insists he only came to sell books, not to confess love or propose marriage. Mrinalini demands to know his real name, and Jhanak steps in, suggesting he could have simply told her that she doesn’t want to marry.
Anirudh, battling a high fever, tells Jhanak that Arshi didn’t realize how unwell he was, but Jhanak would have understood even over the phone. Jhanak feeds him and he thanks her for staying with him the previous night. He recalls hugging her in his feverish state and asks if she was uncomfortable. Jhanak, reflecting on his words, tells him she dislikes discussing such matters.
Anirudh, feeling torn and confused, pleads for her to stay with him as he feels better in her presence. He promises to fulfill his duties with Arshi and handle everything, while Jhanak silently wonders if she will be able to bear seeing him happy with someone else.
Mrinalini continues to accuse Choton of hiding his identity. Frustrated, he lies again, prompting her to threaten him with a stick and the police. He finally admits his name is Dibankar Bose. She demands his father’s name, and he sarcastically jokes about not being interested in her. She warns him that everything is being recorded. Panicked, he apologizes and reveals the truth.
Later, Anirudh asks Jhanak if she had eaten. She assures him she has and tells him to rest, mentioning the doctor will visit soon. Anirudh, grateful for her care, remarks that her presence brought him peace. Jhanak quietly leaves, lost in her thoughts.
Mrinalini questioned Choton, “Will you lie again?”Choton, with a smirk, responded, “Nope, lying is kind of my thing.”Curiously, she probed, “Are you married?”
He replied, with a hint of self-deprecation, “Who’d give their daughter to a jobless guy like me? Let’s keep this between us, alright? I won’t trouble you again.”Handing him a list, she smoothly blackmailed him into getting the books she needed, bargaining for a discount.
“Fine,” he conceded, “I’ll fetch them tomorrow.”With a nod, she dismissed him, “Okay, you’re free to leave.”
As he settled in, Choton requested tea and biscuits, which Mrinalini promptly instructed Ramlal to bring. Grateful, he thanked her with a smile before taking his seat.
Elsewhere, Arshi discussed wedding plans with Shrishti, expressing her determination to ensure a splendid marriage for her friend.
Arshi later visited Anirudh’s home, where Bipasha welcomed her. Excitedly, Arshi revealed her decision to quit her job and preparations for the sangeet, eagerly awaiting Anirudh’s return to discuss further.
Presenting the sangeet outfits, Arshi received gifts from Tanuja, but she also showcased her own purchases, asserting the modernity of her choices over traditional Bengali sarees. Rumi criticized Jhanak’s absence, igniting tension with Choton and Anjana defending her.
Shubh reminded Choton of Jhanak’s wedding day, prompting a reflection on her absence and hopes for her happiness. Arshi, however, dismissed the topic, considering Jhanak’s association with Anirudh as a closed chapter, albeit with some lingering emotions.
