The episode begins with Sachin talking to Aaji and Shanti about Sayali. Shanti mentions that Aaji has called a fortune teller home. Sachin expresses his disbelief in such practices and decides not to fall into the trap. Aaji then sends them to the temple, where Sachin asks Sayali if she knows how to swim.
Sayali replies in the negative, and Sachin shares an anecdote about his father teaching him to swim by throwing him into a lake and asking him to conquer his fear. Sayali expresses gratitude for saving her, but Sachin insists he will help her overcome her fear. Sayali, however, assures him she is fine.
Meanwhile, Akash, trying to befriend Riya, pretends to be hurt and takes selfies to garner sympathy. He sends the pictures to Riya, who, upon seeing them, assumes that the chef has caught the goon. She calls Akash, expressing happiness and gratitude, and declares him her best friend for taking action against the wrongdoer. Riya plans to visit the restaurant to meet Akash, but he, feeling tired, requests to meet her later.
Back at home, Aaji consults the pandit regarding Sachin and Sayali’s marriage, who suggests they should start a happy life that day, citing an auspicious time. Aaji, excited, asks for preparations to begin. When Sachin and Sayali return, Sachin asks about the pandit’s advice.
Aaji scolds him for his ignorance and reveals the auspicious time is for their wedding night, clarifying they won’t be staying as husband and wife until then. Sachin, shocked, offers to leave immediately, but Aaji emotionally manipulates him, lamenting that her dream of becoming a great-grandmother might never come true because of his reluctance.
Shanti intervenes, advising Sachin to cherish the imperfections in relationships and highlighting Sayali’s worth. Aaji, still upset, suggests Sachin forget about Sayali. Sachin, willing to do anything to make things right, agrees to Aaji’s plan, much to everyone’s delight. Aaji, pleased with the turn of events, leaves to attend to other matters.
Observing Sachin’s discomfort, Sayali smiles. Sachin then calls Anya to check on some financial matters, indicating he’ll be returning in two days. He later discusses his plan to visit a childhood friend with Aaji, who adamantly opposes the idea, attributing it to Sayali’s influence.
Aaji playfully scolds Sachin, teasing that Sayali will now be the “brakes” in his life. Sachin, wanting to convince Aaji, holds Sayali’s saree pallu and requests her to intervene on his behalf. Sayali smiles at their playful exchange.
She suggests, “Why don’t you go there and have a drink?” He declines, “No, I’ll just have tea.” Aaji interjects, “Don’t listen to him.” Sachin pleads, “Please tell her.” Sayali intervenes, “Let him go, Aaji.” Relenting, Aaji acquiesces, “Fine, let him go then.” Sachin beams with joy, promising, “I’ll be back by 6.” He rushes off, leaving them smiling.
Meanwhile, a man announces, “Your favorite customer has arrived.” Akash, preferring not to be seen, instructs, “Tell her I’m not here.” Riya enters, searching for him. Spotting him, she stops him and asks, “You’re chef Akash, right? Could you please turn around?” Reluctantly, he complies, and she is shocked to see him.
Feeling betrayed, she accuses, “You cheated me.” He defends, “No, I didn’t know about it. You sketch so well.” She accuses him of faking injuries, leading to an argument, and then storms off. He laments, “I hope this isn’t the end of our friendship.”
Meanwhile, Vaiju meets Sayali, and they chat. Sayali applies haldi to Vaiju, expressing, “You’ll be getting married soon.” After Vaiju leaves, Aaji welcomes her friend Gita and other villagers. Sayali, feeling shy, is introduced by Aaji to Gita. Aaji then suggests to Sayali to take a bath and join them for the puja preparations, leaving Sayali smiling.
