Kavya asks Dimpy if she should apply lemon and sugar syrup on her hand to darken the mehendi color. Titu volunteers to do it instead. Kavya agrees. Dimpy asks him what he wants to say. Titu tries to speak but hesitates. When she spots Vanraj, she walks away.
Vanraj approaches Titu and asks what he’s doing. Titu says he’s applying lemon-sugar syrup on his hand. Vanraj tells him to apply it, warning that the color might fade soon. Titu apologizes and sets the bowl down. Vanraj tells him to keep it safe, saying they might need it later.
Meanwhile, Anupama picks up a glass from the table. Anuj arrives and comments on his dramatic welcome at the Shah house, calling it a classic shower. He admits he shouldn’t have reacted that way, explaining that both he and Vanraj are stuck in their ways, and jokes that his college self resurfaced.
Anupama teases that a five-page Anupama awakened in him, and they share a laugh. Anuj offers to help, but Anupama declines and leaves. She spots a lizard and worries it might fall into the food, deciding to ask Babu Ji to get pest control done.
Toshu enters the room, laughing at something on his phone. Kinjal asks why he didn’t pack his things for the US properly. He asks if he forgot anything, and she quips that he left behind his good behavior. She questions how he spoke to Anuj. Toshu dismisses Anuj, saying he doesn’t owe him respect.
Kinjal points out how in love Anuj and Anupama are, even in middle age, joking that her mother will steal shoes and Anuj will drape a dupatta over his shoulder, making Anupama blush. Toshu retorts that they act more like teenagers than adults. Kinjal calls him a dog with unchangeable behavior.
Anupama feels restless. Kinjal asks if she’s okay after Anuj’s arrival. Anupama reassures her. Shruti is pleased that Aadhya called and sent photos. She considers calling Aadhya but decides to wait. She thinks about Anuj and Anupama, trying to distract herself by reminding herself that Aadhya is with Anuj and Anupama is also there.
Anupama sees Pakhi and advises her to be happy, as there is a wedding at home. Pakhi retorts, saying she is not like Anupama, who causes others to cry and then appears here. She adds that she could have married too, but her family doesn’t care for her. Anupama reminds Pakhi that she eloped and married Adhik, made his life difficult, took Ishani away from him, and then divorced him. She encourages Pakhi to find joy in others’ happiness, and she will find her own.
The mehendi designer asks Anupama for her husband’s name. Vanraj, hearing this, says “Anuj” and suggests Anupama get his name written on her hand, if not on her heart, as he has come from a distant country. Anupama asks for a simple design.
Ansh hears this and offers to make the design on her hand. Mahi mocks him, saying he can’t even draw a straight line. They laugh, but Anupama tells them not to tease Ansh, pampering him and encouraging him to apply the mehendi.
Kavya comments that Rekha aunty’s daughter got a tattoo on her lower back, and Kinjal jokes about what would happen if Dimpy did the same and Baa found out. Anupama humorously asks how Baa would find out. Ansh proudly shows everyone his neat design with Anuj’s name, making Anupama emotional.
Aadhya gets upset and asks what’s going on. Ansh explains that Dadu said Anuj’s name, so he wrote it, noting how Anupama fell on Anuj like a heroine. Vanraj laughs and remarks about today’s kids, saying they imitate hero-heroine behavior.
Aadhya demands Ansh wipe off the mehendi, but he refuses, protecting his Dadi’s mehendi. Anuj steps in, explaining to Aadhya that Ansh did what he was taught. Aadhya suspects someone told Ansh to write Anuj’s name and glares at Anupama.
Baa grumbles that she advised against inviting Anupama, predicting trouble. Aadhya insists on leaving, but Anuj convinces her to stay, apologizing to Baa for the argument. Anupama washes her hand but finds Anuj’s name still faintly printed, recalling Shruti’s words.
Vanraj approaches, asking if the name is still on her hand. Anupama quips back, asking where his troublemaker’s crown is. He retorts, calling her the Queen of shamelessness and sings “Tere Naam”. Anupama asserts she won’t tolerate his behavior, especially in front of the children, and warns she will respond firmly if he crosses the line.
Meanwhile, Shruti waits for Aadhya’s call. When Aadhya calls, Devika, applying mehendi to Shruti, asks her to wait until the design is finished. Aadhya shows the design on her hand to Shruti, who advises her to get designer mehendi from India.
Anupama notices Aadhya’s hand near a bulb and saves her just in time. Anuj tells Aadhya to be careful. Anupama greets Shruti, who notices Anuj’s name on Anupama’s hand. Anupama apologizes, explaining that Ansh wrote it by mistake. Shruti coldly agrees it was a mistake, leaving everyone uneasy.
