The episode begins with Vaiju gazing at a picture of Ranvijay before falling asleep. Kaveri observes this. Meanwhile, Rao Sahab visits Ranvijay and inquires if he has feelings for someone. Ranvijay opens up about Jaya. Impressed, Rao Sahab encourages him to share this with Vasundara.
Ranvijay explains that he intended to, but Vasundara had already mentioned Vaiju’s alliance. Understanding Ranvijay’s dilemma, Rao Sahab empathizes, having experienced a similar situation, and advises him to speak to Vasundara, assuring him of his support to avoid marrying the wrong person.
The next morning, as Vaiju gets ready, Kaveri feigns illness, hoping Vaiju will stay home. However, Vaiju is unconvinced and opens the door to find Jaya, much to everyone’s joy. Jaya expresses her hunger and the desire to eat, prompting Aai to leave for groceries. Jaya suggests convincing Vaiju to agree to marry the man in the picture.
Meanwhile, Vasundara presides over the Darbar, and Ranvijay joins the proceedings. When asked for his opinion, Ranvijay suggests seeking the daughter’s consent, stating that while parents seek their children’s best interests, the daughter should have a say. Vasundara disagrees, smiling slyly.
Later, Jaya tries persuading Vaiju to marry the man in the picture. Despite Kaveri’s assertion that Vaiju likes him, Jaya believes Vaiju loves him. Vaiju recalls her feelings for Ranvijay. Kaveri questions why she keeps his picture under her pillow. Jaya concludes that Vaiju is in love with Ranvijay and embraces her.
Vaiju reflects, “Everyone dreams of a big house, fields, and family, but not everyone gets everything they want.” Jaya interjects, “But I got a good sister.” Vasundara chimes in, “Arranged marriage or love marriage, it’s not a problem. Parents make decisions about their children’s marriages based on their experience and maturity. I want you to make a well-considered decision.
” As the people leave, Ranvijay muses, “A relationship should have love in it.” Vasundara notices his hesitation and asks, “You don’t agree with me. Do you love someone?” Ranvijay hesitates, “Actually… There is a girl. I’m sorry if I have hurt your heart. Say something, scold me.” She smiles.
Jaya presses, “You answer me. If that picture guy comes here, then what will you do?” Vaiju imagines Ranvijay. Jaya probes further, “What will you say if he proposes to you?” Vaiju replies, “I will say yes, but he didn’t say yes.” Vasundara, convinced of Vaiju’s character and qualities, asserts, “You both will be perfect for each other.
Sometimes, one feels love because of beauty and looks, but I have given you the right values to make the right decision for yourself. I feel Vaiju is right for you. You and that girl love each other. I would like to meet that girl. I want to see your happiness.” Ranvijay beams and hugs her, thanking her. She asks, “When will you introduce me to her?” He promises, “I will call her right away. You will also like her a lot.
” Jaya urges Kaveri and Vaiju to show the picture, but Vaiju refuses. However, Kaveri finds the picture and gives it to Jaya. Ranvijay calls Jaya, but she doesn’t see his call. Jaya is shocked to see his picture and starts crying. Kaveri remarks, “He has stolen Vaiju’s heart.” Vaiju goes to check Jaya’s phone, but Jaya quickly takes the phone and lies, “It’s my professor’s call. I’ll call you later.” Vaiju looks at her, puzzled.
