Patil confronts Yashwant/YRB, accusing him of searching for Suman Mhatre to intimidate her, and reveals that the police have found her and are keeping her hidden. He then mocks Ishaan, inviting him to spend time in the lockup, and orders a constable to arrest him.
YRB protests, stating that Ishaan can’t be arrested based solely on an FIR. Patil, calling him ignorant, shows the arrest orders and warns YRB that if he interferes, he will be arrested as well and made to suffer without air conditioning or a fan. Reeva insists that Ishaan is innocent and should not be taken away, but Patil remains adamant.
As Patil arrests Ishaan and drags him to the jeep in front of the entire college, he taunts Ishaan, claiming to be a powerful force who can crush him. The students express their support for Ishaan, acknowledging that he has been framed. Patil locks Ishaan up and boasts about keeping his promise.
Ishaan retorts, knowing Patil is aware of his innocence, but Patil challenges that he will keep Ishaan in jail for a long time. Reeva arrives, asserting that her father has hired the city’s top criminal lawyer who will quickly prove Ishaan’s innocence.
Patil dismisses her, saying no one can save Ishaan from the serious charges against him. Reeva asks Ishaan why he went to college after the party, but Ishaan remains silent, unable to mention Savi. Reeva reassures him that her father will soon arrive with a lawyer and bail papers to secure his release.
Savi enters with YRB and Chinmay, affirming Reeva’s belief that Ishaan won’t stay in lockup for long. Patil accuses Ishaan of molesting a student, but YRB presents the bail papers, demanding Ishaan’s release. Patil, surprised by the bail, claims such cases don’t usually grant bail without evidence.
Savi reveals that Ishaan was with her last night, and the judge accepted her statement, resulting in his bail. Chinmay explains that Savi is the key witness, having called him to reveal the truth.
Ishaan wonders why Savi did this. Patil questions Savi’s motives, suggesting she might be repaying a debt or acting under YRB’s pressure. Savi denies any pressure, recounting how Ishaan came to her home around 1:15 a.m. and how she initially mistook him for a stranger and hit him. Reeva is left stunned by the revelation.
Patil accuses Ishaan of being characterless for visiting his ex-wife while preparing to marry another girl. YRB interjects, stating that the matter is unrelated to Ishaan’s marital life and demands his son’s immediate release. Patil complies, and Reeva walks away upset.
YRB and Nishi thank Savi before leaving. Chinmay expresses gratitude to Savi, acknowledging that her intervention prevented Ishaan from being falsely accused by Patil. He blesses her and departs. Ishaan questions Savi on why she involved herself and risked her reputation.
Savi explains that she wanted to prove his innocence and inquires about his whereabouts after leaving her house. Ishaan admits he slept outside her house all night. When Savi asks why, Ishaan’s inner voice urges him to confess his love, but he hesitates and says he doesn’t know. Reeva and Patil overhear the conversation.
At home, Reeva confronts Ishaan about spending the night with Savi and questions his feelings for her. Ishaan remains silent. YRB demands an explanation, accusing Savi of creating and resolving the problem herself. Ishaan takes responsibility, admitting he went to Savi’s house on his own. YRB slaps him, accusing both of tarnishing his dignity. Reeva intervenes to prevent further slapping.
YRB warns Ishaan that if he sees Savi again, their relationship will be over. Surekha scolds Ishaan for troubling Reeva yet expresses concern for his well-being. Ishaan attempts to talk to Reeva, but she rebuffs him.
The next morning, Savi finds a mischievous sketch of Ishaan romancing both Savi and Reeva. She confronts the constables, who mock Ishaan. Students join in, accusing Savi of defending Ishaan, implying she knows about his alleged misconduct. Shukla threatens the students, defending Savi.
Sandhya advises Savi to find evidence rather than engage in arguments. Savi resolves to locate Suman Mhatre, recalling a film artist agency ID card in Suman’s bag and searches for the agency’s address online.
Surekha questions Reeva about asking Ishaan if he loves Savi, despite knowing he proposed to her instead. Reeva explains that Savi publicly claimed Ishaan was with her. Surekha reassures her, asserting nothing happened between Ishaan and Savi, attributing Ishaan’s visits to his helpful nature.
She urges Reeva to promise to keep Ishaan away from Savi. YRB supports Surekha, emphasizing the family’s dignity. Surekha asks Reeva to follow her “patni dharma” like Savitri and save Ishaan from Savi. Reeva solemnly promises.
