The episode begins with Jhanak agreeing to Tejas’ offer to stop his man. Tejas, surprised, confirms her decision and suggests she first meet the press to announce her decision to marry him willingly, which would create a buzz. Jhanak agrees, and Tejas stops his man.
She reaffirms her readiness for marriage, and Tejas advises her to meet the press before proceeding. He calls his staff, instructing them to prepare for his and Jhanak’s arrival at his house, where they will announce their marriage. Meanwhile, Anirudh, unaware of these developments, anxiously tries to reach Jhanak.
As O Sajni re… plays in the background, Jhanak cries while Tejas prepares for the press conference. He announces to the press that he, a bachelor, has finally found someone to marry, and they will tie the knot the next day due to his busy schedule with elections.
The press is intrigued, and Tejas invites Jhanak to confirm their relationship and announce the marriage. Jhanak arrives, and Tejas instructs her on what to say to the press. Despite her initial reluctance, she complies, fearing the consequences.
Meanwhile, Appu visits Anirudh and expresses concern about Jhanak, fearing she might not return. Anirudh, unaware of Jhanak’s coerced decision, worries about her safety. At the press conference, the police inspector identifies Jhanak and realizes she must have been compelled by Tejas.
The SP decides not to intervene since Jhanak seems willing to marry Tejas. Jhanak introduces herself to the reporters and confirms her impending marriage to Tejas.
Tejas takes the opportunity to present Jhanak as a suitable match, emphasizing her role in bringing peace to his life and home. Jhanak, feeling trapped, goes along with Tejas’ narrative, fearing Anirudh’s reaction when he learns the truth. As the episode ends, Anirudh, unaware of Jhanak’s plight, promises Appu he will bring Jhanak back from Kashmir and breaks down, devastated by the turn of events.
Tejas inquires, “Have you thought about it? Let’s begin the wedding preparations. Don’t worry, I won’t intrude into your privacy. No one will believe you if you try to alert someone.” Jhanak responds, “I won’t say anything.” Tejas urges her to come without causing a scene, to simply act happy. He takes her hand and leads her away. Meanwhile, Anirudh suspects foul play, “I know Tejas has coerced Jhanak into this marriage. I’ll rescue her, I promise.”
The next morning, Anirudh travels to Kashmir. He contacts the inspector regarding Jhanak’s whereabouts. The inspector directs him to a local newspaper.
Anirudh, now in Srinagar, queries if Jhanak has been found. The inspector confirms and suggests Anirudh return, questioning his involvement, “Why are you so concerned about her? She’s an adult who can make her own choices. You needn’t worry.” Anirudh insists, “It’s not up to you.” The inspector defends, “I can’t decide for you both.” Anirudh argues, “She needs help.
Why are you saying this? Where is she?” The inspector reveals, “She’s at Tejas’ house.” Anirudh, alarmed, accuses the inspector of neglect, “You were supposed to prevent this! She’s been kidnapped, and instead of rescuing her, you’re arguing with me.
” The inspector claims helplessness, “There’s nothing I can do.” Anirudh questions, “Are you afraid of Tejas?” The inspector denies fear, asserting, “No one needs help here. Go back to your hotel and read the newspaper. You’ve provided me with incorrect information.
Whom should I save?” Anirudh demands clarification, “What do you mean?” The inspector maintains, “Everything is under control. I have other tasks to attend to.” Anirudh pleads, “Just tell me.” The inspector warns, “You can’t force me to take action.
You lodged the complaint, not Jhanak. She has no issues.” Anirudh implores, “Don’t leave her in danger. Save her!” The inspector relents, “Fine, come with me. You’ll see for yourself. Visit Tejas’ house this evening.”
