Meanwhile, Jhanak, deprived of her phone, voices her apprehension about potential calls causing distress to whoever answers. The officer assures her by feigning a call to Anirudh, stating that they are holding her phone for security purposes and offering updates if needed.
Despite her plea to speak, he postpones the conversation. Anirudh inquires about her accommodations, to which the inspector mentions arranging a nearby hotel until she can return home post-exams, suggesting filing a complaint against Tejas.
Anirudh learns about Tejas’s involvement in elections but is reminded of his criminal status, prompting consideration of filing an FIR. Meanwhile, the faux officer alters their route upon sighting a police car.
At the station, the inspector and his team search for Jhanak, realizing her absence and suspecting foul play. Concerned, they vow to locate her, intending to interrogate Tejas.
