The episode begins with everyone eagerly awaiting Armaan’s arrival. Dadi expresses confidence that Armaan will meet Manav today. Armaan enters the room, and Dadi immediately asks if he met Manav. Armaan confirms that he did. Dadi presses for a clear answer, asking if he liked Manav for Ruhi or not. Vidya, visibly concerned, holds Manisha’s hands.
In a flashback, Armaan is seen encountering Manav. Manav advises him to relax and offers him water, concerned about his well-being. Manisha asks Armaan if he’s alright, to which Manav suggests that Armaan might be feeling dizzy due to weakness. He encourages Armaan to take care of his health and offers him a chocolate.
Manisha remarks on Armaan taking on Kaveri’s case and Ruhi’s responsibility simultaneously, expressing doubt about his ability to manage. Armaan apologizes for not being able to come the previous day, but Manav assures him it’s fine and advises him to rest instead of conducting the interview. He suggests that Armaan needs rest and offers to drop him home. Despite Armaan’s protests, Manav insists, citing his medical expertise and the risk of driving in a weakened state.
Dadi interrupts the flashback, asking Armaan for a clear answer about Manav. Armaan admits that Manav is a good person but states that he is not the right match for Ruhi. When asked for an explanation, another flashback reveals Armaan questioning Manav about his ability to make Ruhi happy. Manav philosophically responds, emphasizing the importance of personal choices in happiness. He mentions his practice in the US and the possibility of Ruhi moving there with him, highlighting his support for her business endeavors and his commitment to respecting each other’s space. Armaan concludes that Ruhi wouldn’t be happy with Manav.
Madhav argues that Manav is a good match and would take care of Ruhi, but Armaan insists that his intuition tells him otherwise. Dadi asks Ruhi if she has any objections, to which Ruhi agrees with Armaan’s decision. Manisha accuses them of already deciding to refuse Manav. Vidya tries to diffuse the tension, but Sanjay declares the alliance cancelled, leading to a discussion about Ruhi’s future marriage prospects.
Vidya urges them not to pressure Ruhi into marriage, while Madhav suggests letting her live her life freely. Dadi, frustrated, tells Armaan that Ruhi’s fate is now in his hands, implying that he is responsible for her well-being. Armaan, lost in thought, accidentally breaks a dream catcher, which Ruhi notices and thanks him for his decision. He explains that while Manav is a good person, Ruhi deserves someone who prioritizes her. He reaffirms his commitment to his family and leaves. Ruhi expresses disbelief at Armaan’s decision, acknowledging that he made them upset for her sake.
Meanwhile, Suwarna receives the news of Armaan rejecting the alliance and expresses disappointment. Manish is angered by the rejection and expresses a desire to call Armaan, but Manav stops him, stating that Armaan has made his choice. Surekha is pleased with the outcome, as she had predicted that Armaan would refuse due to his inability to see Ruhi happy.
Later, in a tense confrontation, Abhira accuses Armaan of lying about Dadi’s innocence after finding incriminating papers. They argue, and Abhira decides to move to the guest room, declaring their paths have always been different. Armaan locks away the case file and stands firm in his defense of Dadi.
