The episode opens with a heated argument between Armaan and Abhira. As they both shout at each other, Dadi intervenes, urging Abhira to calm down and join them for breakfast. She announces that the builder has successfully removed the illegal occupants from their land, allowing them to proceed with construction. Manoj and Abhira congratulate her, but Abhira suggests building something more environmentally friendly than a hotel. Dadi dismisses her suggestion and asks her to leave.
Later, Charu mentions having the day off, and Abhira, upon seeing Armaan, decides to leave. Ruhi arrives, and Dadi instructs Vidya to discuss meeting with Manav with her, hoping for Ruhi to settle down soon. Armaan excuses himself, and Dev hands Abhira a file about a case, revealing that the land in question belongs to Mrs. Kaveri Poddar. Abhira recalls Dadi’s words, but her perception of Mrs. Poddar is challenged when a reporter accuses her of burning down homes on her property, sparking a controversy.
Abhira insists that Mrs. Poddar is a good person, but Dev presents evidence that suggests otherwise, including Dadi’s messages to the builder. Dev assigns the case to Abhira, much to her dismay. Back at home, she informs Dadi of her decision to take the case, expressing her desire to help the affected people. Dadi, outraged, throws the papers and scolds Abhira for going against the family.
Armaan supports Dadi’s decision, leading to a confrontation with Abhira. She stands firm in her decision to fight for justice, while Armaan accuses her of blindly trusting the wrong side. Meanwhile, the family discusses the potential impact of the case on Ruhi’s marriage prospects, as Manav’s family may reconsider due to the controversy.
