The episode opens with Sachin and Sayali arguing. Sachin apologizes and promises never to take her with him again. Sayali questions him about the gold chain, asking if he sold it. Sachin explains that he hasn’t sold it; he’s waiting to get it back when the clasp is repaired. He then excuses himself to go to the washroom.
While Sachin is in the washroom, Sayali steps outside and offers to bring him some khichdi. Paresh declines, asking if Sachin is still around. Sayali informs him that Sachin has left. Renu’s phone rings, and Sayali picks it up to pass it to her. Renu, annoyed, scolds Sayali and takes the call from Shakku.
Shakku informs Renu about a potential alliance for Tejas, citing his impressive qualifications that could lead to him becoming the Managing Director of a steel business. Renu is pleased and taunts Sayali, insinuating that Tejas’s success contrasts with Sayali’s failures. Shakku reveals that she hasn’t mentioned Tejas’s elopement from the wedding mandap to the prospective alliance.
Concerned about how they will explain Tejas’s marriage before Sachin’s, Renu instructs Shakku to come over so they can make arrangements. She then tells Sayali to leave the vegetables and assist her. Renu assigns Sayali cleaning chores, including dusting and floor cleaning. Paresh decides to eat breakfast and then rest, prompting Renu to remind him to discuss Tejas’s marriage plans.
Tejas enters, and Paresh informs him that Renu has found a girl for him, with the prospective bride’s family coming to see him. Paresh playfully asks Tejas about his job and praises Sachin, contrasting his work ethic with Tejas’s apparent lack of ambition. Renu encourages Tejas to get ready, acknowledging his current jobless status and the need for him to find employment.
Sayali, angered, drops a plate on the floor. Renu asks what happened, and Sayali explains that the plate slipped from her hand. Renu remarks that things seem to be slipping from Sayali’s hand these days. She then tells Paresh to inform everyone that Sachin and Sayali had a love marriage. Renu asks Sayali to finish her work quickly, which further irritates Sayali.
Paresh intervenes, expressing concern that starting the alliance on a lie is not right. Meanwhile, Sachin meets with his friends, who inform him about the landlord insulting Sayali. Sachin, distracted, tells them to focus on the chain matter instead. He expresses frustration, saying that he had peace before but not anymore, and jokingly comments on marriage.
Paresh arrives and scolds Sachin and his friends for drinking at the party. Sachin explains that he didn’t see Paresh’s call. Paresh, disappointed, tells Sachin that he doesn’t understand why Sayali is upset and warns him that they will never stay happy if they continue this way. He then invites Sachin home in the afternoon, as Renu has made some arrangements. Sachin agrees and leaves. Meanwhile, Roshni sees a trophy and happily tells her friend about Tejas, wondering if he likes her despite not knowing everything about her past.
When Sachin returns home, he learns about Tejas’ marriage, leading to an argument between him and Sayali. Paresh tries to pacify the situation by mentioning that Tejas promised to return the money if his life improved, which makes him happy.
Later, Renu and Shakku prepare for Tejas’ arrival. Sachin jokes about Tejas, and Sayali smiles. However, Renu insults Sayali again. Paresh intervenes, reminding Renu to respect those who work hard. He asks Sayali to come along and welcome the guests for his sake.
